Detailed explanation of IBDP University Preparatory Program

The International Baccalaureate Organization's college preparatory program for students aged 16 to 19 is the IBDP . It was founded in Geneva, Switzerland in 1968. The program is famous for its academic rigor and comprehensiveness, and its results are recognized by thousands of universities around the world.

The full score of IBDP is 45 points, of which core courses account for 3 points, and the six subject groups account for a total of 42 points. IBDP Core Requirements and Assessments

The uniqueness of the International Foundation Certificate program is that it has three core requirements. The purpose of these core requirements is to cultivate students' critical thinking, independent research capabilities, and social responsibility.

To obtain an IBDP diploma, students must score at least 24 points and complete all core requirements. Under normal circumstances, the competition for admission to world-class universities is fierce. Applicants often need to have a total IB score of 38 points or higher. At the same time, there are also specific requirements for individual subject scores.

Integration of international curriculum and Chinese curriculum

In the case of China, the international curriculum is not meant to completely replace the national curriculum. Many localization practices present such a situation, and the two can achieve organically complementary and fulfilling effects. For example, China's basic education provides solid training in mathematics and science, which can lay a good foundation for students to learn international courses.

At the same time, integrating Chinese history content into the international curriculum framework, and integrating Chinese culture and other content into the international curriculum framework will help cultivate talents with a global perspective and local cultural confidence.
