1. Greetings and Introductions | 问候与介绍
At the start of any conversation, you need to use appropriate greetings and know how to introduce yourself and others. Key phrases include Bonjour (Hello/Good day), Salut (Hi – informal), and Bonsoir (Good evening). When meeting someone for the first time, you can say Enchanté(e) (Nice to meet you).
在对话开始时,你需要使用恰当的问候语,并知道如何介绍自己和他人。关键表达包括 Bonjour(你好/日安)、Salut(你好——非正式)和 Bonsoir(晚上好)。初次见面时,你可以说 Enchanté(e)(很高兴认识你)。
You should also be able to ask how someone is: Comment ça va ? or Ça va ? Common replies are Ça va bien, Comme ci, comme ça or Pas mal. To introduce yourself, say Je m’appelle… and to ask someone’s name use Comment tu t’appelles ? or the formal Comment vous appelez-vous ?
你还应该会询问对方近况:Comment ça va ? 或 Ça va ?。常见的回答有 Ça va bien(很好)、Comme ci, comme ça(马马虎虎)或 Pas mal(还不错)。自我介绍时说 Je m’appelle…,询问他人姓名用 Comment tu t’appelles ? 或正式的 Comment vous appelez-vous ?。
Remember to use tu for friends and people your age, and vous for adults, teachers or when showing respect. A short introduction might sound like this: Bonjour, je m’appelle Marie. J’ai treize ans. Et toi ?
记住,对朋友和同龄人用 tu,对成年人、老师或表示尊敬时用 vous。一段简短的自我介绍可以是这样的:Bonjour, je m’appelle Marie. J’ai treize ans. Et toi ?(你好,我叫玛丽。我十三岁。你呢?)
2. Numbers, Dates and Time | 数字、日期与时间
Numbers are essential for giving your age, telling the time and saying the date. Make sure you can count from 0 to 100 confidently. Pay attention to tricky spellings, like cinq, huit, vingt and numbers such as soixante-dix (70), quatre-vingts (80) and quatre-vingt-dix (90). For 21, 31, 41 etc., use et un: vingt et un.
数字对于表达年龄、报时和说日期至关重要。确保你能自信地从 0 数到 100。注意容易出错的拼写,如 cinq、huit、vingt 以及 soixante-dix(70)、quatre-vingts(80)和 quatre-vingt-dix(90)。21、31、41 等数字要加上 et un:vingt et un。
When giving the date, use nous sommes le + number + month. Days and months are not capitalised in French. For example: Nous sommes le 14 juillet. To ask the date say Quelle est la date ?
表达日期时用 nous sommes le + 数字 + 月份。法语中的星期和月份不大写。例如:Nous sommes le 14 juillet. 询问日期说 Quelle est la date ?。
For telling the time, use Il est + hour. You can say Il est trois heures (3 o’clock), Il est trois heures et demie (half past three), Il est quatre heures moins le quart (quarter to four). The 24-hour clock is very common in French, so Il est quatorze heures means 2:00 pm.
报时用 Il est + 小时。你可以说 Il est trois heures(三点整)、Il est trois heures et demie(三点半)、Il est quatre heures moins le quart(四点差一刻)。法语中很常用 24 小时制,因此 Il est quatorze heures 表示下午两点。
3. Nouns and Articles | 名词与冠词
Every French noun has a gender: masculine or feminine. This affects the articles and adjectives used with it. The definite article is le (m.), la (f.), l’ (before vowel or silent h) and les (plural). Indefinite articles are un (m.), une (f.) and des (plural).
每个法语名词都有阴阳性,这会影响与之搭配的冠词和形容词。定冠词为 le(阳)、la(阴)、l’(用于元音或哑音 h 前)和 les(复数)。不定冠词为 un(阳)、une(阴)和 des(复数)。
There are no foolproof rules, but many nouns ending in -e are feminine (e.g. la table), while those ending in -age or -ment are often masculine (le fromage). Always learn the gender together with the noun: une maison, le stylo.
没有万无一失的规律,但许多以 -e 结尾的名词是阴性(如 la table),而以 -age 或 -ment 结尾的名词常为阳性(le fromage)。学习名词时一定要连同冠词一起记:une maison,le stylo。
The partitive article du, de la, de l’, des is used when talking about an undefined quantity. For example: Je voudrais du pain (I would like some bread). After a negative, partitive articles change to de or d’: Je ne mange pas de viande.
部分冠词 du、de la、de l’、des 用于表示不明确的数量。例如:Je voudrais du pain(我想要一些面包)。在否定句中,部分冠词变为 de 或 d’:Je ne mange pas de viande(我不吃肉)。
4. Adjectives: Agreement and Position | 形容词:性数配合与位置
In French, adjectives must agree in gender and number with the noun they describe. Most adjectives add an -e for the feminine and an -s for the plural. For example: un garçon intelligent → une fille intelligente, des garçons intelligents.
法语中,形容词必须与所修饰的名词保持性、数一致。大部分形容词在阴性时加 -e,复数时加 -s。例如:un garçon intelligent → une fille intelligente,des garçons intelligents(一些聪明的男孩)。
Some adjectives are irregular and have different feminine forms, such as blanc → blanche, heureux → heureuse, long → longue. A few adjectives are invariable in the feminine when they already end in an unaccented -e, like jeune, rouge, sympathique.
有些形容词是不规则的,拥有不同的阴性形式,如 blanc → blanche、heureux → heureuse、long → longue。少数以不发音 -e 结尾的形容词在阴性时不变化,如 jeune、rouge、sympathique。
Most French adjectives come after the noun, but some common ones precede it. Remember the acronym BAGS: Beauty (beau), Age (jeune, vieux), Goodness (bon, mauvais) and Size (grand, petit) tend to go before the noun. So you say un grand hôtel, not un hôtel grand.
大多数法语形容词放在名词 之后,但一些常用形容词前置。记住 BAGS 这个助记词:Beauty(美—beau)、Age(年龄—jeune, vieux)、Goodness(好—bon, mauvais)和 Size(大小—grand, petit)通常位于名词前。因此你说 un grand hôtel 而不是 un hôtel grand。
5. Present Tense: Regular -ER Verbs | 现在时:规则 -ER 动词
The largest group of French verbs ends in -er. To form the present tense, remove the -er and add the endings: -e, -es, -e, -ons, -ez, -ent. Here is the complete conjugation of parler (to speak).
法语中最大的一类动词以 -er 结尾。构成现在时态时,去掉 -er 并加上词尾:-e, -es, -e, -ons, -ez, -ent。以下是 parler(说话)的完整变位。
| Subject | Parler | Meaning |
|---|---|---|
| je | parle | I speak |
| tu | parles | you speak (inf.) |
| il/elle/on | parle | he/she/one speaks |
| nous | parlons | we speak |
| vous | parlez | you speak (form./pl.) |
| ils/elles | parlent | they speak |
Some common -er verbs you need at this level are: aimer (to like/love), habiter (to live), jouer (to play), manger (to eat), regarder (to watch) and travailler (to work). Notice that manger keeps the e before -ons: nous mangeons.
在这个阶段你需要掌握的一些常用 -er 动词包括:aimer(喜欢/爱)、habiter(居住)、jouer(玩耍)、manger(吃)、regarder(看)和 travailler(工作)。注意 manger 在 -ons 之前保留 e:nous mangeons。
6. Present Tense: -IR and -RE Verbs | 现在时:-IR 和 -RE 动词
Regular -ir verbs like finir (to finish) follow a different pattern. Remove -ir and add -is, -is, -it, -issons, -issez, -issent. For example: je finis, tu finis, il finit, nous finissons, vous finissez, ils finissent. Common -ir verbs include choisir (to choose) and réussir (to succeed).
规则 -ir 动词如 finir(结束)遵循不同的模式。去掉 -ir,加上 -is, -is, -it, -issons, -issez, -issent。例如:je finis, tu finis, il finit, nous finissons, vous finissez, ils finissent。常见的 -ir 动词有 choisir(选择)和 réussir(成功)。
Regular -re verbs like vendre (to sell) have their own set of endings: remove -re and add -s, -s, -, -ons, -ez, -ent. The third person singular (il/elle) drops the ending entirely: il vend. Other useful -re verbs are attendre (to wait), entendre (to hear) and répondre (to answer).
规则 -re 动词如 vendre(卖)也有一套自己的词尾:去掉 -re,加上 -s, -s, -, -ons, -ez, -ent。第三人称单数(il/elle)完全去掉词尾:il vend。其他有用的 -re 动词有 attendre(等待)、entendre(听见)和 répondre(回答)。
Practice conjugating these verbs in sentences: Nous choisissons le film (We choose the film), Tu attends le bus ? (Are you waiting for the bus?). Accuracy with these patterns will greatly boost your writing and speaking marks.
在句子中练习这些动词的变位:Nous choisissons le film(我们选电影)、Tu attends le bus ?(你在等公交车吗?)。准确掌握这些模式将大大提高你的写作和口语分数。
7. Key Irregular Verbs: Être, Avoir, Aller, Faire | 重点不规则动词:être, avoir, aller, faire
Four irregular verbs are absolutely essential. Learn them by heart as they are used constantly and also serve as auxiliary verbs for other tenses.
四个不规则动词绝对至关重要。务必牢记它们,因为它们不仅使用频繁,还充当其他时态的助动词。
| Pronoun | Être (to be) | Avoir (to have) | Aller (to go) | Faire (to do/make) |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| je | suis | ai | vais | fais |
| tu | es | as | vas | fais |
| il/elle/on | est | a | va | fait |
| nous | sommes | avons | allons | faisons |
| vous | êtes | avez | allez | faites |
| ils/elles | sont | ont | vont | font |
Être is used with adjectives and professions: Je suis fatigué; avoir for age and possession: Tu as un chat; aller for movement and the near future; faire for activities and weather: Il fait beau. Knowing them inside out will unlock most everyday conversations.
Être 与形容词和职业连用:Je suis fatigué(我很累);avoir 表示年龄和拥有:Tu as un chat(你有一只猫);aller 用于运动和最近将来时;faire 用于活动和天气:Il fait beau(天气好)。熟练掌握这些动词能让你应对大部分日常对话。
8. The Near Future (Futur Proche) | 最近将来时
The near future is one of the easiest tenses to form and incredibly useful. It expresses what is going to happen. The structure is: aller (present) + infinitive. For example: Je vais regarder un film (I am going to watch a film), Elle va faire ses devoirs (She is going to do her homework).
最近将来时是最容易构成的时态之一,也非常实用。它表达即将发生的事情。结构是:aller 的现在时 + 动词原形。例如:Je vais regarder un film(我要去看电影)、Elle va faire ses devoirs(她要做作业)。
You can use this tense with any infinitive. It is perfect for talking about your plans for the weekend or the next holiday: Nous allons visiter Paris, Ils vont jouer au foot. Remember that the infinitive stays unchanged; only aller conjugates.
任何动词原形都可以使用这个时态。它非常适合谈论周末安排或下一个假期计划:Nous allons visiter Paris(我们要去游览巴黎)、Ils vont jouer au foot(他们要去踢足球)。记住,不定式保持不变,只有 aller 需要变位。
9. Asking Questions | 提问方式
French has three main ways to ask a yes/no question. The simplest is to raise your intonation: Tu aimes le chocolat ? The second is to add Est-ce que at the beginning: Est-ce que tu aimes le chocolat ? The formal way is inversion of the subject and verb: Aimes-tu le chocolat ?
法语有三种主要的提问方式用于一般疑问句。最简单的是提升语调:Tu aimes le chocolat ?(你喜欢巧克力吗?)。第二种是在句首加上 Est-ce que:Est-ce que tu aimes le chocolat ?。正式的方式是主谓倒装:Aimes-tu le chocolat ?。
For open questions, use question words such as Qui ? (who), Que/Qu’est-ce que ? (what), Où ? (where), Quand ? (when), Pourquoi ? (why) and Comment ? (how). Usually the question word goes first, followed by est-ce que or inversion: Où est-ce que tu habites ? / Où habites-tu ?
对于特殊疑问句,使用疑问词如 Qui ?(谁)、Que/Qu’est-ce que ?(什么)、Où ?(哪里)、Quand ?(何时)、Pourquoi ?(为什么)和 Comment ?(怎样)。通常疑问词位于句首,后面跟 est-ce que 或倒装结构:Où est-ce que tu habites ? / Où habites-tu ?(你住在哪里?)。
10. Negatives | 否定形式
To make a sentence negative in French, you place ne… pas around the conjugated verb. If the verb begins with a vowel, use n’… pas. For example: Je parle → Je ne parle pas; Il aime → Il n’aime pas.
法语中构成否定句,将 ne… pas 放在变位动词两边。如果动词以元音开头,用 n’… pas。例如:Je parle → Je ne parle pas(我不说);Il aime → Il n’aime pas(他不喜欢)。
Other negative structures include ne… jamais (never), ne… plus (no longer), ne… rien (nothing) and ne… personne (nobody). Note that rien and personne can appear after the past participle or infinitive: Je n’ai rien vu; Je n’ai vu personne.
其他否定结构包括 ne… jamais(从不)、ne… plus(不再)、ne… rien(没有什么)和 ne… personne(没有人)。注意 rien 和 personne 可以放在过去分词或不定式之后:Je n’ai rien vu(我什么也没看见);Je n’ai vu personne(我谁也没看见)。
11. Possessives and Demonstratives | 物主形容词与指示形容词
Possessive adjectives must agree with the noun they describe, not the owner’s gender. For masculine nouns use mon, ton, son, notre, votre, leur. For feminine nouns use ma, ta, sa, notre, votre, leur. Before a vowel or silent h, always use mon, ton, son even for feminine nouns, e.g. mon amie.
物主形容词必须与它们所修饰的名词性数一致,而不是与所有者性别一致。阳性名词前用 mon, ton, son, notre,
