1. Present Tense – Regular -ER Verbs | 现在时 – 规则 -ER 动词
The largest family of French verbs ends in -ER. To form the present tense, remove the -ER ending to find the stem, then add the correct endings. Think of it as a simple mathematical formula: Stem + ending.
法语中最大的动词家族以 -ER 结尾。构成现在时,只需去掉 -ER 得到词干,再添加相应的词尾。可以把它看作一个简单的数学公式:词干 + 词尾。
Regular -ER present tense formula: Stem + (e, es, e, ons, ez, ent)
规则 -ER 现在时公式:词干 + (e, es, e, ons, ez, ent)
Let's apply the formula to the verb 'parler' (to speak). The stem is 'parl-'. The endings attach directly to it.
我们把这个公式应用到动词 'parler'(说话)。词干是 'parl-'。词尾直接加在后面。
| Subject pronoun | Conjugation (parler) | Meaning |
|---|---|---|
| je | parle | I speak |
| tu | parles | you speak (informal) |
| il/elle/on | parle | he/she/one speaks |
| nous | parlons | we speak |
| vous | parlez | you speak (formal/plural) |
| ils/elles | parlent | they speak |
Remember that the 'ent' ending on ils/elles is silent. The 'nous' ending -ons is stressed. This regular pattern works for thousands of verbs like aimer, jouer, habiter, and ecouter.
记住 ils/elles 的词尾 'ent' 不发音。nous 词尾 -ons 需要重读。这个规律适用于数千个动词,如 aimer, jouer, habiter 和 ecouter。
2. Present Tense – Regular -IR Verbs | 现在时 – 规则 -IR 动词
Many -IR verbs follow the 'finir' model. The formula uses two stems: a singular stem for je/tu/il and a plural stem that adds -iss- before the usual endings.
许多 -IR 动词遵循 'finir' 模式。这个公式使用两种词干:单数人称使用一个词干,复数人称在常规词尾前插入 -iss-。
Regular -IR formula (finir model): Singular stem + (is, is, it) | Plural stem + (issons, issez, issent)
规则 -IR 公式(finir 模式):单数词干 + (is, is, it) | 复数词干 + (issons, issez, issent)
Take 'finir' (to finish). The singular stem is 'fin-', the plural stem is 'finiss-'.
以 'finir'(完成)为例。单数词干是 'fin-',复数词干是 'finiss-'。
| Subject | Conjugation | English |
|---|---|---|
| je | finis | I finish |
| tu | finis | you finish |
| il/elle | finit | he/she finishes |
| nous | finissons | we finish |
| vous | finissez | you finish |
| ils/elles | finissent | they finish |
Other common -IR verbs using this pattern include choisir (to choose), reussir (to succeed), and grandir (to grow up). Always check whether your -IR verb is regular – some, like 'partir' or 'dormir', behave differently.
其他使用这个模式的常见 -IR 动词包括 choisir(选择)、reussir(成功)和 grandir(长大)。务必确认你的 -IR 动词是否是规则的——有些像 'partir' 或 'dormir' 变化方式不同。
3. Present Tense – Regular -RE Verbs | 现在时 – 规则 -RE 动词
Regular -RE verbs are the smallest group but still follow a predictable formula. Remove the -RE to get the stem, then add the endings. Note the il/elle form has no ending – it is just the stem.
规则 -RE 动词是最小的一个分组,但仍遵循可预测的公式。去掉 -RE 得到词干,然后加上词尾。注意 il/elle 形式没有额外词尾——就是词干本身。
Regular -RE formula: Stem + (s, s, nothing, ons, ez, ent)
规则 -RE 公式:词干 + (s, s, 无, ons, ez, ent)
Example: 'vendre' (to sell) → stem 'vend-'.
例如:'vendre'(卖)→ 词干 'vend-'。
| Subject | Conjugation | English |
|---|---|---|
| je | vends | I sell |
| tu | vends | you sell |
| il/elle | vend | he/she sells |
| nous | vendons | we sell |
| vous | vendez | you sell |
| ils/elles | vendent | they sell |
Other regular -RE verbs include 'attendre' (to wait), 'entendre' (to hear), and 'perdre' (to lose). Practise recognising the stem quickly, and the endings will become automatic.
其他规则 -RE 动词包括 'attendre'(等待)、'entendre'(听到)和 'perdre'(丢失)。练习快速识别词干,词尾的变化会变得自然而然。
4. Key Irregular Verbs: avoir, etre, aller, faire | 重要不规则动词:avoir, etre, aller, faire
These four verbs are the building blocks of French. Their present tense forms do not follow regular formulas, so they must be memorised. Treat them as essential constants in your grammar equation.
这四个动词是法语的基石。它们的现在时形式不遵循规则公式,因此必须记住。把它们当作语法方程里必不可少的常数。
| Subject | avoir (to have) | etre (to be) | aller (to go) | faire (to do/make) |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| je | ai | suis | vais | fais |
| tu | as | es | vas | fais |
| il/elle/on | a | est | va | fait |
| nous | avons | sommes | allons | faisons |
| vous | avez | etes | allez | faites |
| ils/elles | ont | sont | vont | font |
These verbs are used in countless expressions (j'ai faim, je suis fatigue, je vais bien, je fais du sport). They also serve as auxiliary verbs for past tenses later, so learn them thoroughly now.
这些动词用于无数表达中(j'ai faim, je suis fatigue, je vais bien, je fais du sport)。它们日后还作为过去时态的助动词,所以现在要彻底掌握。
5. Adjective Agreement Formulas | 形容词配合公式
In French, adjectives change their form to match the gender and number of the noun they describe. This agreement follows clear addition formulas, like adding suffixes in an equation.
在法语中,形容词会根据所修饰名词的性和数改变形式。这种配合遵循清晰的添加公式,就像方程式里添加后缀一样。
Basic agreement formula: Masculine singular → Feminine singular: + -e | Plural: + -s (masc.) / + -es (fem.)
基本配合公式:阳性单数 → 阴性单数:+ -e | 复数:+ -s(阳)/ + -es(阴)
Example: 'grand' (tall) → grande (fem. sg.) → grands (masc. pl.) → grandes (fem. pl.).
例如:'grand'(高的)→ grande(阴单)→ grands(阳复)→ grandes(阴复)。
Some adjectives have slight spelling adjustments in the feminine: 'heureux' becomes 'heureuse', 'sportif' becomes 'sportive', and 'blanc' becomes 'blanche'. Memorise these as special case formulas.
有些形容词在变成阴性时有细微拼写调整:'heureux' 变成 'heureuse','sportif' 变成 'sportive','blanc' 变成 'blanche'。把这些当作特殊情况公式记住。
6. The Negative Formula: ne ... pas | 否定公式:ne ... pas
Negation in French works by wrapping the conjugated verb between 'ne' and 'pas'. It is like placing brackets around the verb in a negative sentence formula.
法语中的否定是通过将变位动词包裹在 'ne' 和 'pas' 之间实现的。这就好比在否定句公式中将括号套在动词上。
Present tense negation formula: Subject + ne + verb + pas + rest of sentence.
现在时否定公式:主语 + ne + 动词 + pas + 句子其余部分。
Before a vowel or silent 'h', 'ne' becomes 'n''. Example: Je parle → Je ne parle pas. Il a → Il n'a pas. Nous allons → Nous n'allons pas.
在元音或哑音 'h' 前,'ne' 变为 'n''。例如:Je parle → Je ne parle pas. Il a → Il n'a pas. Nous allons → Nous n'allons pas.
In the near future (aller + infinitive), the negation still goes around aller: Je ne vais pas manger. The infinitive stays untouched.
在最近将来时(aller + 不定式)中,否定仍然围绕 aller:Je ne vais pas manger。不定式保持原样。
7. Question Formation Formulas | 疑问句构成公式
There are three main ways to form questions in French, each with its own 'formula'. Choose the one that fits the register and your confidence level.
法语构成疑问句主要有三种方式,每种都有自己的「公式」。选择适合语域和你自信程度的那一个。
Formula 1 (informal): Statement + rising intonation? Tu aimes le sport?
公式 1(非正式):陈述句 + 上升语调?Tu aimes le sport?
Formula 2 (standard): Est-ce que + statement? Est-ce que tu aimes le sport?
公式 2(标准):Est-ce que + 陈述句?Est-ce que tu aimes le sport?
Formula 3 (formal): Inversion – verb-subject hyphen. Aimes-tu le sport? (Aimes-tu)
公式 3(正式):倒装 – 动词-主语连字符。Aimes-tu le sport? (Aimes-tu)
For the inversion formula, note that with il/elle/on and ils/elles, a -t- is inserted between vowels: A-t-il un frere? Parle-t-elle francais? This prevents a clash of vowel sounds.
关于倒装公式,注意 il/elle/on 和 ils/elles 情况下,元音间要插入 -t-:A-t-il un frere? Parle-t-elle francais? 这能避免元音冲突。
8. Definite and Indefinite Articles | 定冠词与不定冠词
Articles are tiny but vital. They must agree in gender and number with the noun. Think of them as prefixes attached to the idea of 'the' or 'a/some'.
冠词虽小却至关重要。它们必须在性和数上与名词配合。可以把它们看作附加在「the」或「a/some」概念上的前缀。
| Type | Masculine sg. | Feminine sg. | Plural (both genders) | Before vowel/h |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Definite (the) | le | la | les | l' |
| Indefinite (a/an) | un | une | des | un/une |
Examples: le livre (the book), la table (the table), les amis (the friends). Un stylo (a pen), une idee (an idea), des chiens (some dogs).
例如:le livre(书),la table(桌子),les amis(朋友们)。Un stylo(一支笔),une idee(一个主意),des chiens(一些狗)。
9. Partitive Articles: du, de la, de l', des | 部分冠词:du, de la, de l', des
When talking about an unspecified quantity of something (some bread, some water), French uses partitive articles. The formula combines 'de' with the definite article.
当谈论不确定数量的某物(一些面包、一些水)时,法语使用部分冠词。其公式是将 'de' 与定冠词结合。
Partitive formula: de + le = du (masc.), de + la = de la (fem.), de + l' = de l' (vowel), de + les = des (plural)
部分冠词公式:de + le = du(阳),de + la = de la(阴),de + l' = de l'(元音前),de + les = des(复数)
Examples: Je mange du pain. (I eat some bread.) Elle boit de la limonade. (She drinks some lemonade.) Nous avons de l'argent. (We have some money.) Ils achetent des fruits. (They buy some fruit.)
例子:Je mange du pain.(我吃些面包。)Elle boit de la limonade.(她喝些柠檬水。)Nous avons de l'argent.(我们有些钱。)Ils achetent des fruits.(他们买些水果。)
After a negation, partitive articles usually change back to 'de' or 'd'': Je ne mange pas de pain. (I don't eat any bread.)
在否定之后,部分冠词通常变回 'de' 或 'd'':Je ne mange pas de pain.(我不吃面包。)
10. Near Future Tense Formula: aller + infinitive | 最近将来时公式:aller + 不定式
To talk about something that is going to happen soon, French uses the near future. It is one of the easiest formulas: just conjugate 'aller' in the present tense and place the infinitive of the main verb straight after.
要表达即将发生的事情,法语使用最近将来时。这是最简单的公式之一:只需将 'aller' 进行现在时变位,然后把主动词的不定式直接放在后面。
Near future formula: Subject + conjugated aller + infinitive
最近将来时公式:主语 + aller 的变位 + 不定式
Example with 'manger': Je vais manger,
