本文对 Year 9 CCEA 化学的核心主题进行全面梳理。掌握这些基础知识将为你未来的学习和实际应用打下坚实基础。
1. The Particle Model and States of Matter | 粒子模型与物质状态
All substances are made of tiny particles. These particles are constantly in motion, and the energy of this motion relates to temperature.
所有物质都由微小粒子构成。这些粒子在不断地运动,运动的能量与温度有关。
The three states of matter are solid, liquid and gas. In solids, particles are held closely together in a fixed, regular arrangement and can only vibrate about fixed positions. Solids have a definite shape and volume.
物质的三态是固体、液体和气体。在固体中,粒子紧密地固定在规则的排列中,只能在固定位置振动。固体有确定的形状和体积。
In liquids, particles are still close together but are arranged irregularly and can move past each other. Liquids have a fixed volume but take the shape of the container.
在液体中,粒子仍然紧密但排列不规则,可以相互滑动。液体有固定的体积,但形状随容器而变。
In gases, particles are widely spaced and move rapidly in all directions. Gases have no fixed shape or volume and can be compressed.
在气体中,粒子间距很大,并向各个方向快速运动。气体没有固定的形状或体积,可以被压缩。
2. Changes of State and Energy | 状态变化与能量
Changes of state occur when a substance is heated or cooled. The processes include melting (solid to liquid), freezing (liquid to solid), boiling or evaporating (liquid to gas), condensing (gas to liquid), sublimation (solid to gas) and deposition (gas to solid).
当物质被加热或冷却时会发生状态变化。这些过程包括熔化(固体→液体)、凝固(液体→固体)、沸腾或蒸发(液体→气体)、冷凝(气体→液体)、升华(固体→气体)和凝华(气体→固体)。
During a change of state, the temperature remains constant even though heat is being supplied. This is because the energy is used to overcome the forces between particles rather than to increase their kinetic energy.
在状态变化过程中,即使持续供热,温度也保持不变。这是因为能量用于克服粒子之间的作用力,而不是增加动能。
Condensation and freezing are exothermic (release energy), whereas melting and boiling are endothermic (absorb energy).
冷凝和凝固是放热过程(释放能量),而熔化和沸腾是吸热过程(吸收能量)。
3. Atoms, Elements and Compounds | 原子、元素与化合物
An atom is the smallest particle of an element that can take part in a chemical reaction. Atoms consist of a nucleus containing protons and neutrons, surrounded by electrons in shells.
原子是元素中能参与化学反应的最小粒子。原子由含有质子和中子的核以及核外分层排布的电子构成。
An element is a pure substance made of only one type of atom. A compound is a substance formed when two or more different elements are chemically bonded together in fixed proportions. Compounds have properties different from their constituent elements.
元素是由同一种原子组成的纯物质。化合物是两种或多种不同元素以固定比例通过化学键结合而成的物质。化合物的性质与其组成元素不同。
For example, sodium (Na) is a reactive metal and chlorine (Cl₂) is a poisonous gas, but the compound they form, sodium chloride (NaCl), is harmless table salt.
例如,钠 (Na) 是一种活泼金属,氯 (Cl₂) 是有毒气体,但它们形成的化合物氯化钠 (NaCl) 却是无毒的食盐。
4. The Periodic Table and Element Groups | 元素周期表与族
The Periodic Table arranges all known elements in order of increasing atomic number. Elements with similar chemical properties are placed in the same group (vertical columns). The horizontal rows are called periods.
元素周期表按照原子序数递增的顺序排列所有已知元素。化学性质相似的元素被排在同一族(竖列)。横行称为周期。
Group 1 elements are the alkali metals, e.g. lithium (Li), sodium (Na), potassium (K). They are soft, reactive metals that react vigorously with water to form an alkaline solution and hydrogen gas. Reactivity increases down the group.
第1族元素是碱金属,例如锂 (Li)、钠 (Na)、钾 (K)。它们是质软、活泼的金属,与水剧烈反应生成碱性溶液和氢气。反应性向下增强。
Group 7 contains the halogens, e.g. fluorine (F), chlorine (Cl), bromine (Br), iodine (I). They are non-metals and exist as diatomic molecules. Reactivity decreases down the group.
第7族包含卤素,例如氟 (F)、氯 (Cl)、溴 (Br)、碘 (I)。它们是非金属,以双原子分子形式存在。反应性向下减弱。
Group 0 (or 8) elements are the noble gases, e.g. helium (He), neon (Ne), argon (Ar). They are monatomic, colourless gases and are very unreactive due to having a full outer electron shell.
