1. Why a Summer Bridge Course in German? | 为什么需要德语暑期衔接课程?
After several weeks without lessons, it is normal to forget some words and structures. Research shows that a small amount of daily contact with a language – even ten minutes – can prevent summer learning loss and strengthen long-term memory. A bridge course also lets you preview the key themes of S2, such as descriptions of people, school routines and talking about hobbies, so that you walk into the first lesson feeling confident and ready to speak.
几周不上课,忘记一些单词和句型是很正常的。研究表明,每天哪怕只花十分钟接触一门语言,也能有效防止“暑期滑坡”,巩固长期记忆。衔接课程还能让你提前熟悉 S2 的重点话题,比如人物描述、学校日常和谈论兴趣爱好,这样开学第一节课你就会更有信心,敢于开口。
2. Core Vocabulary: Greetings and Introductions | 核心词汇:问候与自我介绍
Being able to introduce yourself and greet others is the foundation of any conversation. In S2 German you will be expected to say more than just your name – you will need to talk about your age, where you live and how you are feeling. Practise these phrases aloud, paying attention to the pronunciation of ß (like 'ss') and ü.
掌握自我介绍和问候是会话的基础。在 S2 德语课上,你要能说出更多信息,而不仅仅是名字——年龄、住处和感受都要会表达。大声练习下面的句子,注意 ß(发“ss”音)和 ü 的发音。
| German | English | 中文 |
|---|---|---|
| Hallo! / Guten Tag! | Hello! / Good day! | 你好!/ 日安! |
| Wie heißt du? | What is your name? | 你叫什么名字? |
| Ich heiße Anna. | My name is Anna. | 我叫安娜。 |
| Wie alt bist du? | How old are you? | 你多大了? |

| Wie geht es dir? – Mir geht es gut, danke. | How are you? – I am fine, thanks. | 你好吗? – 我很好,谢谢。 |
Make a habit of greeting your family with "Guten Morgen" and asking "Wie geht es dir?" – small daily interactions make vocabulary stick.
养成用“Guten Morgen”和家人打招呼、问“Wie geht es dir?”的习惯,这些每天的小互动能让词汇记得更牢。
3. Numbers, Dates and Ages | 数字、日期与年龄
Numbers are essential for talking about age, telephone numbers, prices and the date. In S2 you will also use them with the clock and timetables. Start by practising 1–20, then learn the tens (20, 30…) and the pattern for larger numbers.
数字在表达年龄、电话号码、价格和日期时不可或缺。在 S2 你还会用数字说时间和课表。先练熟 1–20,再学整十数字,然后掌握更大数字的构造规律。
| Number | German | 中文 |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | eins | 一 |
| 2 | zwei | 二 |
| 3 | drei | 三 |
| 10 | zehn | 十 |
| 16 | sechzehn | 十六 |
| 20 | zwanzig | 二十 |
| 31 | einunddreißig | 三十一 |
| 100 | (ein)hundert | 一百 |
To talk about birthdays, learn the months (Januar, Februar, März...) and the question Wann hast du Geburtstag? Answer with Ich habe am [date] Geburtstag – for example, Ich habe am dritten Mai Geburtstag.
谈论生日时要学会月份(Januar, Februar, März…)和提问 Wann hast du Geburtstag? 作答用 Ich habe am [日期] Geburtstag,如 Ich habe am dritten Mai Geburtstag(我五月三号过生日)。
4. Family and Describing People | 家庭与人物描述
Family members often appear in SQA speaking and writing tasks. You should be able to name your immediate relatives and describe them using simple adjectives. Remember that nouns for people often have a feminine form: der Bruder (brother) becomes die Schwester (sister).
家庭成员经常出现在 SQA 的口语和写作任务中。你需要说出直系亲属的称呼,并用简单的形容词描述他们。注意人物名词常有阴性形式,比如 der Bruder(兄弟)对应 die Schwester(姐妹)。
| German | English | 中文 |
|---|---|---|
| die Mutter | mother | 妈妈 |
| der Vater | father | 爸爸 |
| der Bruder / die Schwester | brother / sister | 兄弟 / 姐妹 |
| die Oma / der Opa | grandma / grandpa | 奶奶/外婆 / 爷爷/外公 |
Use possessive adjectives like mein/meine and dein/deine. For example: Meine Schwester heißt Emma. Sie ist klein und sehr lustig.
使用物主代词 mein/meine 和 dein/deine。例如:Meine Schwester heißt Emma. Sie ist klein und sehr lustig.(我的妹妹叫艾玛,她个子小,很搞笑。)
5. School Life and Classroom Objects | 学校生活与教室物品
In S2 you will describe your school day, subjects and opinions. Key verbs include haben (to have) and finden (to find/think). You also need the names of common classroom objects so that you can follow instructions and talk about what you need.
在 S2 你要描述学校生活、科目和自己的看法。关键动词有 haben(有)和 finden(觉得)。还要会说常见教室物品,这样才能听懂指令,表达需要什么。
Subjects: Mathe, Englisch, Deutsch, Sport, Kunst, Musik, Geschichte. Express your opinion with Ich finde Mathe interessant, aber schwierig.
科目:Mathe(数学),Englisch(英语),Deutsch(德语),Sport(体育),Kunst(美术),Musik(音乐),Geschichte(历史)。表达看法:Ich finde Mathe interessant, aber schwierig.(我觉得数学有意思,但很难。)
Classroom objects: der Tisch (table), die Tafel (board), das Buch (book), der Rucksack (backpack), das Heft (exercise book). Try saying Ich habe mein Heft nicht (I don't have my exercise book).
教室物品:der Tisch(桌子),die Tafel(黑板),das Buch(书),der Rucksack(背包),das Heft(练习本)。试着说 Ich habe mein Heft nicht(我没带练习本)。
6. Hobbies and Free Time | 兴趣爱好与课余时间
Talking about what you like to do in your free time is great for conversation practice. The structure Ich + verb + gern is used to say you like doing something. You can also use nicht gern for things you do not like, and sehr gern for things you love doing.
谈论业余爱好非常适合会话练习。Ich + 动词 + gern 这个结构用来表示喜欢做某事;nicht gern 表示不喜欢,sehr gern 表示非常喜欢。
| Activity | German | 中文 |
|---|---|---|
| play football | Fußball spielen | 踢足球 |
| swim | schwimmen | 游泳 |
| listen to music | Musik hören | 听音乐 |
| play the guitar | Gitarre spielen | 弹吉他 |
| meet friends | Freunde treffen | 与朋友见面 |
Combine with time phrases: Am Wochenende spiele ich gern Gitarre. (At the weekend I like playing the guitar.)
搭配时间状语:Am Wochenende spiele ich gern Gitarre.(周末我喜欢弹吉他。)
7. Food and Drink – Ordering at a Café | 饮食 – 在咖啡馆点餐
This topic sets you up for real-life communication and often features in role plays. Learn the phrases for ordering food and asking for the bill, and practise adapting the quantities and prices.
这个话题能帮你实现真实场景交流,也是角色扮演的常考内容。学会点餐和结账的表达,并练习变换数量和价格。
| German | English | 中文 |
|---|---|---|
| Ich möchte einen Apfelsaft, bitte. | I would like an apple juice, please. | 我想要一杯苹果汁。 |
| Haben Sie eine Speisekarte? | Do you have a menu? | 你们有菜单吗? |
| Das macht 6 Euro 50. | That is 6 euros 50. | 一共6欧元50分。 |
| Die Rechnung, bitte! | The bill, please! | 请买单! |
Notice the accusative case after möchten: einen (masculine) changes from ein. You will meet the accusative more systematically in S2, but you can start memorising the pattern einen / eine / ein for 'a' after these action verbs.
注意 möchten 后接宾格:阳性的 ein 变成了 einen。S2 期间你会更系统地学习宾格,但可以提前记下这类动作动词后面“一个”的规律:阳性用 einen,阴性和中性保持不变。
8. Key Grammar: Nouns and Articles (der/die/das) | 重点语法:名词与冠词
Every German noun has a gender: masculine, feminine or neuter. The definite article in the nominative case is der (masculine), die (feminine) and das (neuter). Always learn the article together with the noun – for example, not just Tisch but der Tisch.
每个德语名词都有性:阳性、阴性和中性。主格定冠词是 der(阳性)、die(阴性)、das(中性)。一定要把冠词和名词一起记,例如不要只记 Tisch,而要记 der Tisch。
| Masculine (der) | Feminine (die) | Neuter (das) |
|---|---|---|
| der Hund (dog) | die Katze (cat) | das Kind (child) |
| der Apfel (apple) | die Banane (banana) | das Brot (bread) |
| der Lehrer (teacher m.) | die Lehrerin (teacher f.) | das Buch (book) |
Use colour coding in your notes: blue for der, red for die, green for das. This visual trick makes gendered articles much easier to remember.
记笔记时可以用颜色标记:der 用蓝色,die 用红色,das 用绿色。这种视觉小窍门能让名词性别变得更容易记住。
9. Present Tense of Regular Verbs and Key Irregulars (haben, sein) | 规则动词与关键不规则动词的现在时
A solid command of the present tense is the engine of Year 8 German. Regular verbs follow a predictable pattern: take the stem (e.g. spiel-) and add the endings -e, -st, -t, -en, -t, -en. The two most important irregular verbs – haben (to have) and sein (
