The Graduate Route is a post-study work visa introduced in 2021. It is available to international students who have successfully completed an eligible course at a UK higher education provider with a track record of compliance. The visa is granted for 2 years (3 years for doctoral graduates). You can work in most jobs, be self-employed, and switch to other visa categories without leaving the UK.

2. Eligibility Criteria | 申请资格
To qualify, you must be in the UK on a valid Student visa (or Tier 4) at the time of application. You must have successfully completed a UK bachelor's degree, postgraduate degree, or another eligible qualification (such as a PGCE, law conversion course, or foundation programme in certain professions) at a higher education provider with a track record of compliance. You cannot apply if you have previously held a Graduate Route visa, unless you have since completed a new course at a higher level.

You can apply only after your institution has notified the Home Office of your course completion – typically after final results are published.
