For ambitious Shanghai students with their sights set on a place at one of Britain’s most distinguished independent schools, Francis Holland School embodies academic excellence and tradition. But winning a spot demands far more than strong school results—it calls for preparation that steps well outside the standard curriculum. A specialised tutoring service meets this challenge head-on, giving Shanghai pupils the focused support they need to navigate the unique admissions process with confidence.
Unlock Academic Excellence at Francis Holland School
Sitting on two prestigious London campuses—Regent’s Park and Sloane Square—Francis Holland School defines an elite education for girls. Celebrated for sparking intellectual curiosity, creativity, and leadership, the school’s success rests on robust academic foundations. Entry is never simply a numbers game; girls must demonstrate clear critical thinking, polished reasoning (both verbal and non-verbal), and a genuine passion for learning that echoes the ethos of the school. Its entrance assessments are designed to identify students who will truly thrive in this stimulating, high-expectation environment.
Our tutoring mirrors the exacting standards of the Francis Holland School selection process. We cover a rich curriculum that hones the skills tested, from advanced English comprehension and composition to intricate mathematical problems and high-order reasoning. Academic preparation is just one part: we also train students for the interview stage, where calm communication, articulate self-expression, and warmth of character are key. The aim is for every girl to present herself as poised, authentic, and fully capable.
The tutors behind this programme know the expectations and character of leading UK independent schools inside out. Beyond subject mastery, they share smart exam strategies and time-handling techniques that make all the difference under clock pressure. Regular mock tests paired with personal, constructive feedback build stamina and self-belief. What can feel like an intimidating hurdle becomes a clear, manageable route to academic goals.
