A-Level 未录取 UCAS Extra Clearing 补录申诉

出分日早上八点，邮箱里没有确认信，UCAS Track 停在一个不熟悉的状态。家里的第一反应是打电话问学校，第二反应是反复刷新邮件。真正要先分清的是三种完全不同的局面。这三种局面共用同一个说法，处理窗口却差好几个月。错过一个截止时间，后面每一步都会变窄。

Results morning usually arrives with an empty inbox rather than a rejection letter. Before anyone starts calling universities, work out which of three situations you are actually in. The routes do not overlap, and the calendars behind them are very different. A missed deadline narrows every option that follows.

三种没有 offer 的局面 / Three Kinds of No Offer

第一种是从头到尾没有收到任何 offer。Track 里五个 choice 全是被拒或已过期。第二种是拿到 conditional offer，但八月出分日差了一档，firm choice 没兑现，insurance 也没接住。第三种是 offer 被撤回，原因可能是材料不符、面试条件未满足，或学校在极少数情况下超额录取后调整。很多学生以为没有 offer 就等于今年结束。实际上二月到十月之间一直有位置在流动。先看清 Track 上每个 choice 的状态，再决定打哪一个电话。

A rejection on every choice, a missed conditional offer, and a withdrawn offer look identical in a screenshot but sit in different calendars. The first case still has months of movement ahead; the second is decided within days of results. Read the status line on each choice before dialling anyone, because the wording tells you which timetable applies. Nobody at a switchboard can help until you know that.

UCAS Extra：二月到七月的加申窗口 / The Extra Window

Extra 是给五个 choice 全部落空的人准备的加申通道。它在二月下旬开放，到七月初关闭。期间一次只能加一个 choice，学校要么给答复，要么在二十一天左右没有回应，你就可以再加下一个。加申不额外收费，用的还是同一份申请材料。这个窗口最容易被忽略的是时间。越往后剩下的课程越少，热门专业在三月就基本满位。写新 choice 之前去 UCAS 官网看该课程的入学要求。有些课程还要求指定科目或入学考试。Track 里五个 choice 都显示 unsuccessful 或 withdrawn 之后，Extra 按钮才会出现。以 2026 年入学为例，Extra 与 Clearing 之间只剩几天空档。

Extra exists for applicants holding no offer at all, and it runs from late February to early July. You add one choice at a time, and a university that stays silent for about three weeks frees you to add another. Places thin out as spring goes on, so check entry requirements on the UCAS site instead of guessing from a grade range. Some courses also ask for a named subject or an admissions test, which is easy to miss when you are working fast.

Clearing：空位出现的时间与查法 / How Clearing Actually Works

Clearing 从七月开到十月，大部分空位集中在出分日前后两周。UCAS 官网的搜索页可以按科目、地区、入学要求筛选。Clearing Plus 会把成绩和学校空位做匹配，匹配结果不等于录取，仍然要自己联系。常见的错误是只盯排名靠前的学校，忽略了同一所学校不同校区的差别。课程代码要抄准，打过去时报 UCAS ID、成绩、科目组合。对方会当场判断能不能给口头 offer。口头 offer 之后要在 Track 里添加 Clearing choice，学校确认才算数。十月初还有最后一轮补位，名额少，多半是开学后空出来的位置。

Clearing runs from July into October, and most vacancies surface in the fortnight around results day. The UCAS search page filters by subject, region and entry requirements, while Clearing Plus suggests matches that still need a phone call from you. Copy the course code exactly and keep your UCAS ID and grades in front of you. A verbal offer becomes real only when you add the choice and the university confirms it.

出分日打电话：手里要有的东西 / What to Hold When You Call

电话打不通是常态。出分日上午招生办公室的线路几乎全忙。把材料写在纸上比存在手机里快：UCAS ID、每一科分数、英语语言成绩、个人陈述里最想说的两句。开场直接说课程代码和成绩。不要先讲自己的故事，对方一天要接几百个电话。很多学生以为要等学校回邮件。实际上 Clearing 阶段电话是唯一能当天拿到答复的渠道。被拒绝时问一句还有没有相近课程的空位，同一个系经常有没招满的联合荣誉课程。

Lines are jammed on results morning, so reading from paper beats scrolling through a phone. Open with the course code and your grades rather than a personal story, since the person answering has hundreds of calls to clear. If that course is full, ask about joint honours in the same department, which often has space when the single honours version does not. Write down the name of whoever you speak to and the time of the call.

差分一点：clerical check 与 priority review / When You Miss by One Grade

成绩比 firm offer 低一档，先看差多少。差一个等级可以走 priority review of marking。JCQ 给的时间窗口很短，通常在出分日后几天内截止，由学校考点统一提交。clerical check 只核对加分和转录有没有错，不改评分判断，这项通常免费。review of marking 由阅卷员重新看答卷，分数可能升也可能降，费用在分数改变时退还。很多学生以为学校会自动帮自己申请。实际上要先跟考点说清楚哪一科、哪一卷，并签同意书。这一步最容易拖，因为窗口关闭后只剩申诉一条路。

A near miss deserves a check before anything else. A clerical check catches addition and transcription errors, while a review of marking re-examines the script and can move the grade in either direction. JCQ sets a very short window after results day, and your centre submits on your behalf, so name the exact paper and sign the consent form early. Once that window shuts, only the appeal route is left.

申诉链：centre、考试局、Ofqual / The Appeal Chain

申诉的第一层在学校考点。考点按考试局程序做中心复核，再决定是否向考试局提出。第二层是考试局，它会给书面结论和理由。第三层才到 Ofqual 的 Exam Procedures Review Service。这一层查的是程序有没有按规定走，不重新判卷。整条链走完可能跨几个月，大学位置不会一直等。务实做法是并行联系 firm choice 的招生办。说明正在复核，问能不能保留位置或延后决定。有些学校会给一个短期保留，时间通常以天计。

Appeals start at the centre, move to the awarding organisation, and only then reach Ofqual's Exam Procedures Review Service, which examines procedure rather than remarking scripts. The chain can run for months, and a university place will not wait that long. Call the admissions office at your firm choice in parallel and ask whether the place can be held while the review runs. Some institutions will hold it for a few days, and that is usually the most you can get.

间隔年重申：什么时候值得 / Reapplying After a Gap Year

重申的决定要在八月做，不能拖到十月。已经拿到实际成绩的人重申时不需要 predict，大学看到的是确定分数。这在竞争激烈的专业上是优势。代价是一年时间与重新准备的成本。个人陈述要重写，因为 2026 年入学起 UCAS 把个人陈述改成三个固定问题，旧模板套不上。推荐人也要重新联系，很多学校只给本校在读或刚毕业的学生写。间隔年的计划要能说清楚做了什么。单纯的在家刷题在面试里很难解释。常见的错误是把重申当保险，结果两边都没准备好。

Reapplying works best when the decision is made in August rather than October. Applicants holding achieved grades are judged on real numbers instead of predictions, which helps in competitive subjects. The cost is a year and a rebuilt application: the personal statement now answers the three questions UCAS introduced for 2026 entry, so an old draft will not fit. A year spent only on past papers is hard to defend at interview.

重考 A-Level：场次与 predict 的缺失 / Retaking A Level

英格兰本土的 A-Level 重考跟着次年夏季场次走。十一月场次只覆盖 GCSE 英语与数学，国际 A-Level 才有十月与一月的考试安排，具体科目以考试局官网为准。重考意味着再读一年，学费按学校或学院的收费标准，私立学院按科目报价。用重考成绩重申时，大学会同时看到两次成绩。部分医学与法律课程对重考有明确限制，申请前查该课程的入学政策。这一年最大的风险是只重考差的那一科，总分结构反而更难解释。预算要按科目数与住宿一起算，别只看学费。

In England, A level resits follow the next summer series, since the November exams cover only GCSE English and maths; international A levels run separate October and January sessions. Medical and law courses often state how they treat resits, so read the admissions policy before enrolling anywhere. Retaking one weak subject is the common choice, and it is also the one that raises the most questions from admissions tutors. Budget for living costs as well as fees, because a third year in a college town is rarely cheap.

预科与国际大一：不是同一个产品 / Foundation Year versus Year One

foundation year 与 international year one 不是一件事。前者是四年制课程的第一年，读完直升本校大一，学生签证与学费按本科课程处理。后者是压缩课程，读完直接进大二，但对接学校有限，且不少由私立机构运营，学历认证要看具体项目。很多学生以为挂了名校名字的预科就等于进了那所大学。实际上升学率按项目不同差别很大，合同里有没有写保证升学要看清楚。选之前确认三件事：谁发录取、升学条件是什么、没升学能不能退费。

A foundation year and an international year one are different products with different risk. The first is year zero of a four-year degree at the same institution, while the second compresses the first year and depends on a partner university accepting you afterwards. Check who issues the offer, what progression actually requires, and what happens to your fees if you do not progress. A famous name on the brochure is not the same as a guarantee.

学位学徒制：不走主轮也能进 / Degree Apprenticeships

degree apprenticeship 由雇主招聘，学费由雇主与政府承担，学生拿工资，每周一天或集中 block 上课。申请入口在 UCAS 官网与雇主官网都有。时间线比本科主轮晚，很多岗位在春季到夏季才放出来。这条路对想留在英国工作的国际学生限制较多，签证类别与雇主资质要逐个确认。成绩没达到 firm offer 的人里，有一部分其实更适合学徒制，家长往往没把它当选项。面试看重的是具体经历，不是分数。合同期通常三到六年，中途离开的违约条款要在签字前看清。

Degree apprenticeships are hired by employers, with fees covered and a wage paid, and teaching delivered one day a week or in blocks. Vacancies appear later than the main UCAS round, often from spring into summer, and each employer sets its own entry requirements. For international applicants the visa route needs checking employer by employer, since not every sponsor takes apprentices. Interviewers ask what you have built or fixed, not what you scored.

国际学生的时间表：CAS、签证与最晚到校日 / The International Timetable

国际学生多一层时间压力。CAS 要在拿到无条件 offer 并交押金后才会发。签证申请要等 CAS 到手才能提交，审理时间以 gov.uk 公布的服务标准为准。学校通常给一个最晚到校日，晚于这个日期可能被要求推迟到下一入学点。很多学生以为签证是拿到 offer 之后自然就有。实际上资金证明的存期、金额与账户持有人都有硬性规定，存错时间要重存。出分后一周内把 CAS 材料交齐，是这条线上最省事的做法。

International applicants face an extra clock. A CAS is issued only after an unconditional offer and a deposit, and the visa application cannot start before that. Universities set a latest arrival date, and missing it usually means deferring to the next intake. Maintenance funds must sit in the right account for the required period, and re-dating a bank statement costs weeks you do not have.

这一周的分工：谁打电话，谁查邮箱 / Dividing the Week

出分后第一周最耗人的不是决策，是信息重复。一个人专门打电话，负责课程代码、口头 offer 与截止时间。一个人盯邮箱与 Track，记录每次联系的时间、对方姓名与答复。学生本人负责成绩复核与材料。把每次通话写成三行：打给谁、说了什么、下一步是什么时间。家里争论往往来自信息不同步，不是判断不同。这一周结束时应该有一个明确结果：接受的位置、在等的复核，或者重申的决定。

The first week after results is lost to duplicated information more often than to bad decisions. Give one person the phone and the course codes, another the inbox and a written log of every call, and keep the student on documents and grade checks. Three lines per call are enough: who you spoke to, what was said, and when the next step falls due. By the end of the week you should be able to name one outcome: a place accepted, a review pending, or a decision to reapply.
