一、三类钱先分清：国费、JASSO 学习奖励费、财团与校内减免 / Three Funding Tracks
日本给留学生的钱大致分三摊：文部科学省的国费奖学金、JASSO 的学习奖励费、以及民间财团和大学自己的减免。国费的覆盖面最全，学费全免，按月发生活费，还包含往返机票，名额也最少。JASSO 的学习奖励费只发给自费留学生，需要所在学校推荐，按月发放，金额按在学阶段分档，具体数字看 JASSO 官网当年的公告。财团奖学金和校内减免更像补丁，金额不大，申请门槛和併給限制各不相同。很多学生以为多拿几个就能叠加，实际规则是国费生在多数情况下不能再领 JASSO 的学习奖励费。艺术类另有一项容易被忽略：大学自己的授業料免除，它按经济状况审查，和奖学金是两条线，可以一起走。把这三摊钱的时间表和材料要求列在一张纸上，比在论坛里翻别人的经验帖有用。

七、日语门槛：JLPT、EJU 与课堂里的真实强度 / Language Thresholds Beyond the Certificate

八、在留资格与 COE：入境前的行政流程 / Certificate of Eligibility and the Student Visa
拿到入学许可之后才是行政流程。学校会代你向出入国在留管理庁申请在留資格認定証明書，简称 COE，需要的材料包括经费支付证明、学历证明、日语能力证明和照片。COE 下来后寄到本国，你再到日本大使馆或总领事馆申请留学签证，两个环节不能颠倒。COE 有有效期，过期要重新申请，机票和入学时间要按这个期限倒排。艺术类申请人的经费支付人如果是父母，要能说明收入来源和存款形成过程，临时大额入账最容易被追问。材料的具体清单以出入国在留管理庁官网和学校指示为准，论坛上的旧清单经常已经过期。
Admission is only half the paperwork: the school applies to the Immigration Services Agency for a certificate of eligibility on your behalf, using proof of funding, academic records, Japanese proficiency and photographs. 九、学费减免：国立与私立的两套算法 / Tuition Waivers at National and Private Universities
学费减免和奖学金是两套系统。国立大学有授業料免除制度，按经济状况审查，分全免和半免，入学金也有免除和分期缴纳的安排。私立大学多设留学生授業料減免，比例固定或按成绩浮动，申请窗口在入学前后。两者都要在期限内提交申请表和收入证明，过期不补，这一点没有商量余地。很多学生以为减免会自动跟着录取通知走，实际要单独申请，还要每年重新审。艺术类学生可以一起申请减免和财团奖学金，只要两者不冲突，把两份材料的内容对齐，别出现收入数字对不上的情况。

National universities run tuition exemption schemes assessed on financial need, granting full or half exemption and sometimes deferring the entrance fee; private universities usually offer an international student discount that is fixed or grade-linked. Both require a form and income evidence inside a stated window, with no late intake, and both are reviewed again every year, so mark the dates in your calendar at enrolment rather than waiting for an email.
十、入学之后的第二次机会 / The Second Window After Enrolment
入学之后的第二次机会比入学前多。每年春季 JASSO 和多家财团同一时期开放募集，学校国际课会贴出名单，不会逐个提醒你。评审看的是上一学年的成绩单、出席率和导师评价，艺术类还会看作品进展。成绩单上有重修记录，基本就与当年的名额无缘。错得最多的是把在校生可申请当成所有人都能申请，财团往往限定国籍、专业或年龄，另有併給制限。有些制作助成只面向日本国籍或永住者，读资格条款能省下几周的准备时间。拿到一个之后，下一个的申请材料可以直接复用，推荐信要提前和导师打招呼。
The second window, after enrolment, is wider than the first. JASSO and several foundations open applications each spring, and the international office posts the list without chasing individuals; panels read last year's transcript, attendance and supervisor comments, and for art students the progress of the work itself. A resit on your record usually ends that year's chances, and many schemes restrict nationality, field or age, so check the eligibility clause before assembling a file.
十一、资格外活动：28 小时与经费计划的关系 / Part-Time Work and the 28-Hour Cap
持留学在留资格打工需要先申请资格外活动许可，获批后每周最多 28 小时，学校长假期间可以到每天 8 小时。超时打工会影响在留期间更新，也会在奖学金评审里被问到。艺术生的时间成本比一般学生高，画室开放时间和打工班次经常冲突，排班前先看工房的使用时段。收入可以算进经费计划，不能替代经费支付人的证明，这两者在审查里不是一回事。常见的错误是把打工收入写成主要生活费来源，签证侧会直接质疑支付能力。语言学校的出席率低于标准，资格外活动也可能被收紧。

十二、被拒的常见原因与材料清单 / Why Applications Fail
被拒的原因往往不在成绩。材料层面最常见的是成绩单缺页、翻译没有盖章、推荐信只写该生优秀而没有具体事例。研究计划与教授方向的错位也很致命，尤其是把同一份计划投给三个研究方向完全不同的研究室。经费证明里存款刚进账、流水与收入申报不一致，会被要求补充说明。併給制限被查出来，已经发的钱要退回一部分。艺术类另有一条：作品集里出现明显的代笔或模板痕迹，面试时的追问会立刻暴露。提交前把材料按募集要項的顺序排一遍，缺哪一页当场就看出来。
Rejections rarely hinge on grades. Missing transcript pages, unstamped translations and references that praise without examples do the damage, and a research plan aimed at three unrelated laboratories reads as a scattergun application. Funding files where a deposit lands days before submission, or where statements contradict declared income, trigger requests for explanation, while breaches of no-double-funding rules can mean repaying part of an award.
十三、倒排时间表：从语言成绩到签证 / Working Backwards From the Deadline
把整件事倒着排会清楚很多。以 2027 年 4 月入学为例，2026 年上半年解决语言成绩，暑期集中做作品，秋季确定研究室并联系教授。出愿多在秋季到年底，材料寄送留出两周缓冲。COE 申请在录取之后，签证再往后一个月。奖学金的时间点夹在中间：大使馆推荐在前一年春季，JASSO 预约在出愿前后，财团多在入学后。这条线上任何一环延后，后面的都要挤。很多学生把作品拖到最后三个月，结果语言、出愿、面试全撞在一起。把每个截止日写进日历，提前两周设提醒，比任何计划表都实在。
Working backwards makes the sequence manageable. For an April 2027 start, language scores belong in the first half of 2026, portfolio work in the summer, and laboratory contact in the autumn, with applications submitted between autumn and the end of the year and a two-week buffer for courier delays. The certificate of eligibility follows admission and the visa follows that, while the funding deadlines sit in between, which is why a portfolio left to the final three months collides with everything else.
