武汉的家长问国际学校，常常从"哪家学费多少"开始。这个问题不好答，因为武汉的所谓国际学校并不是一类机构，收费背后的东西也完全不同。有的学校卖的是课程授权，有的卖的是外教比例，有的卖的是寄宿条件。先弄清学校属于哪一类、孩子毕业拿什么证书、学籍怎么处理，再谈价格才有意义。这篇按选校时真正会卡住的几个点排下来，从办学类型、课程、授权一直讲到学费构成、入学测试和参观时该看什么。
Choosing an international school in Wuhan usually starts with a fee question, which is the wrong end of the problem. Schools here belong to several different categories, and what a family pays for differs sharply between them: a programme authorisation in one case, a high proportion of foreign teachers in another, boarding facilities in a third. This guide works through the questions that actually decide the outcome, from school type and curriculum to authorisation, fee structure, admission testing and what to look for on a visit.
三类学校先分清 / Three Types of School
武汉家长口中的"国际学校"其实是三种不同的东西。外籍人员子女学校只招收持外国护照的学生，课程基本照搬境外，中文课比例很低。民办双语学校招收中国籍学生，白天上国际课程，并保留一部分国家课程。公办高中的国际部通常挂在本校名下，单独编班，招生走中考成绩或学校自主测试。三类的招生对象、学籍处理和收费结构都不一样，混在一起比较没有意义。很多家长以为只要课程是 A-Level 就能互相替代，实际上办学主体决定了孩子有没有国内学籍。看学校之前先把这一层分清，后面的问题会少一半。
Parents in Wuhan often use one label for three different institutions. Schools for the children of foreign nationals admit only foreign passport holders and teach an overseas curriculum almost unchanged, with little Chinese. Private bilingual schools enrol Chinese nationals and combine an international programme with parts of the national curriculum, while international divisions inside public high schools run separate classes and admit through the local senior high exam or their own test. The admitting rules, registration status and fee structure differ across all three, so comparing them on tuition alone tells you very little.
课程体系怎么选 / Choosing a Curriculum
武汉开设的国际课程主要是 IB、A-Level、AP 三类，另有加拿大 BC、澳洲 WACE 等小范围选项。IB 文凭要求六组学科加核心部分：理论知识、拓展论文、创造与行动服务。单科满分 7 分，核心另加 3 分，总分 45。A-Level 通常选三到四门，科目少、挖得深，适合理科或人文方向已经比较清楚的学生。AP 不是完整的高中文凭，它是一组单科考试，学生往往还要读美高课程或本校课程。常见的错误是看到宣传里的"AP 课程"就默认学校发美国高中文凭。选课前先问一句：毕业时拿的是哪一张证书，由谁颁发。
Three programmes dominate the market here: the IB Diploma, A-Level and AP, with Canadian and Australian options in a smaller number of schools. The IB Diploma asks for six subjects plus the core of theory of knowledge, the extended essay and creativity, activity, service, and each subject is graded out of seven with three extra points available from the core. A-Level students normally take three or four subjects and go deeper into fewer of them, which suits candidates with a settled science or humanities preference; AP, by contrast, is a set of single-subject exams rather than a diploma. Ask which certificate a pupil actually leaves with and who issues it, because a school advertising AP courses may still award its own graduation certificate.
授权与认证怎么查 / Authorisation and Accreditation
一所学校说自己"开设 IB"，和它是不是 IB World School 是两件事。IBO 官网有学校查询，授权学校会列出授权年份和开设的项目，小学项目、中学项目、文凭项目分别授权。剑桥国际的学校要完成 Cambridge 注册，拿到中心号，才能组织考试。Edexcel 同样按中心管理，中心号可以在 Pearson 官网核对。武汉有几所学校持有两套授权，也有学校只是某机构的课程合作方。最直接的动作是拿到学校给的中心号或授权编号，自己去官网查一遍，这比听招生介绍可靠。
A school that says it runs the IB is not necessarily an IB World School. The IBO publishes a school search where authorised schools appear with their authorisation year and the programmes they hold, since the primary, middle years and diploma programmes are authorised separately. Cambridge schools must be registered with Cambridge International and hold a centre number before they can enter candidates for exams, and Edexcel centres work the same way through Pearson. Take the centre or authorisation number the school quotes and look it up yourself; the register is more informative than any admissions talk.

Tuition across Wuhan's private international schools varies enormously, and two schools in the same year group can differ by a factor of two. The gap comes from staffing ratios, the cost of holding a programme authorisation, class size and whether boarding is included. An IB school carries heavier authorisation and teacher-training costs than a single A-Level programme, and a small class taught largely by foreign teachers pushes the fee up directly. Boarding schools bundle accommodation and meals into the headline figure, which makes them look expensive until the parts are separated. Compare like with like: same year group, same programme, boarding included or excluded.
学费之外的其他支出 / Costs Beyond Tuition
学费单上没有的项目，往往是预算失控的地方。住宿费、餐费、校服、教材、校车、课后活动、研学旅行，一项一项加上去，总额会明显超过学费本身。考试报名费单独收，IB 和 A-Level 的全球统考按科目计费，补考再收一次。升学指导有的含在学费里，有的按申请季另收。我见过有家长只按学费做预算，第二年才发现活动费和考试费要额外准备。签约前把学校收费公示上的每一项抄下来加总，再问清楚哪些会随年级上涨。
The items missing from the tuition line are usually where budgets break. Boarding, meals, uniforms, textbooks, bus services, after-school activities and trips add up to well beyond the headline fee. Exam entry is charged separately, with IB and A-Level global exams billed per subject and resits billed again. University guidance may sit inside tuition or be charged per application season, and the difference matters once a pupil reaches Year 12. Copy every item from the school's published fee schedule, total it, and ask which lines rise with the year group.
学籍与升学路径 / Registration Status and Pathways
学籍这件事，问得越早越好。民办学校的学生学籍由所在区教育局管理，但国际课程班的学生是否注册国内普通高中学籍，各校做法不同。有学籍意味着可以参加学业水平考试，理论上保留国内升学通道。没有学籍的学生只能走海外申请，转回体制内的难度很大。部分学校提供双轨安排，学生同时准备高考和海外申请，实际执行中课业压力很重。招生老师口头承诺不算数，要看到学籍注册的具体说明，最好写进合同附件。
Registration status is worth settling before anything else. Private schools register pupils with the district education bureau, but whether an international programme student also holds a national high school registration varies by school. Holding one keeps the domestic route open and allows the pupil to sit the academic proficiency tests; without it, overseas applications become the only path and a return to the national system is hard. Some schools offer a dual-track arrangement, though the workload in practice is heavy. Ask for the registration arrangement in writing rather than accepting a verbal answer at the admissions desk.

Admission tests usually cover English and maths, followed by an interview. The English paper tends to sit above the local senior high exam, with longer reading passages and a writing task that expects structured paragraphs. Maths may be set in Chinese or entirely in English, and the English version trips up candidates on terminology rather than method. Interviews probe study habits and interests, and vague answers invite follow-up questions. Work from the target school's sample papers and spend a fortnight on subject vocabulary; general exam drilling helps much less than that.

外教数量是最容易被包装的指标。宣传里的"外教占比"可能把行政人员、短期访学老师都算进去。要看的是持证教师比例、平均在校年限、以及核心科目由谁教。国际学校外教流动率普遍偏高，两年换一批并不罕见。外教在中国任教需要工作许可，学校能否稳定办理，会直接影响开学后会不会临时换人。开放日上可以直接问：过去三年教 A-Level 数学的老师换过几个。答案通常很具体。
The number of foreign teachers is the easiest figure to dress up. A quoted proportion may count administrators and short-term visiting staff, so ask instead about licensed teachers, average length of service and who teaches the core subjects. Turnover in international schools is generally high, and a two-year cycle is not unusual. Foreign staff need work permits to teach in China, and how reliably a school handles them affects whether a class keeps its teacher through the year. At an open day, ask how many teachers have taught A-Level maths over the past three years: the answer tends to be specific.
班级规模与分层教学 / Class Size and Setting
小班是收费理由，也是教学质量的真实变量。二十人和三十人的班，老师能给出的个别反馈差很多。分层教学要看实际做法：是按入学总分分班，还是按科目分层。按科目分层的学校，学生可能在数学高班、英语中班，灵活性更高。有的学校只在英语课分层，其他科目混班，宣传时却说"分层教学"。参观时问一句课程表怎么排，分层是不是每科都做，差别通常听得出来。
Small classes justify part of the fee and also change what teaching is possible. Twenty pupils and thirty pupils produce very different amounts of individual feedback. Look at how setting actually works: whether pupils are streamed by overall entrance score or by subject. Subject-by-subject setting is more flexible, since a pupil can sit in a high maths set and a middle English set. Some schools set only for English and teach mixed classes elsewhere while advertising setting in general, so ask for a timetable and check whether every subject is set.
升学结果怎么读 / Reading University Outcomes
升学榜单要拆开看。offer 数量和最终入读是两回事，一个学生拿五份 offer 会让榜单好看很多。预录取条件没达到而落空的情况每年都有，学校一般不会写进海报。看专业分布比看学校名字有用：如果目标是工程，而榜单上多是商科和社科，说明理科方向的升学指导不强。看年份也很重要，三年前的成绩和今年不是一回事。要求学校提供最近两届、按学生人数统计的去向表，而不是 offer 总数。
University lists need unpicking. Offers received and places taken are different numbers, and one pupil holding five offers flatters a headline considerably. Conditional offers that are missed happen every year and rarely appear on the poster. Subject distribution matters more than the names of universities: a school whose list is dominated by business and social science may not support a pupil aiming at engineering. Ask for the destinations of the last two cohorts, counted per pupil rather than per offer.
校园参观看什么 / What to Look For on a Visit
开放日的路线是设计过的，能看到的东西有限。争取在正常上课日再去看一次，走廊里的秩序、学生说话的状态、老师进教室的速度，这些没法排练。看图书馆的使用痕迹，看实验室的器材是不是常用，看墙上贴的是学生作品还是宣传标语。问在读学生两个问题：作业量多少，遇到问题找谁。孩子的回答通常比招生老师直接。参观结束记一笔，回家再对比，不要当天就交定金。
Open-day routes are choreographed, so what you see is limited. Try to visit again on a normal teaching day and watch the corridors, the way pupils talk to each other and how quickly teachers get to class; none of that can be rehearsed. Look for signs of use in the library and laboratories, and check whether the walls carry pupils' work or marketing slogans. Ask two pupils how much homework they get and who they go to with a problem, then write your impressions down and compare schools at home rather than paying a deposit on the day.
时间表怎么排 / Building a Timeline
武汉国际学校的主招生季在秋季到次年春季，热门学校的第一轮测试往往在前一年年底。九年级下学期的家长如果等到中考后再说，名额通常已经收满。转轨的学生要预留英语过渡时间，从体制内课程切到全英文授课，半年适应是常态。十年级入学的学生，AS 或 DP1 的选课在入学后不久就要定。把测试、面试、签约、缴费几个节点排进日历，比临时打听消息从容得多。

选校这件事没有统一答案，只有匹配度。先写清楚孩子的英语水平、学科强项、家庭预算上限、是否接受寄宿，四条定下来，可选范围会缩小到五六所。再按课程授权、师资、学籍、升学指导四项打分，权重按家庭优先级自己定。参观两到三轮，每轮只带一个问题去问。最后留一所保底学校，申请季的心态会稳很多。把每个环节的书面材料留档，后面有争议时用得上。
There is no single best school, only a fit. Write down the pupil's English level, strongest subjects, the family's fee ceiling and whether boarding is acceptable; those four answers usually cut the list to five or six schools. Score the shortlist on authorisation, staffing, registration status and university guidance, weighting them as your family sees fit. Visit two or three times with one question each time, and keep one safety option so the application season stays calm. File every document you are given, because it is what you will rely on if a promise is later disputed.
