Level 3 awards are the ones that matter for university applications. Level 1 and Level 2 projects are usually taken as preparation or as a stepping stone and carry no UCAS tariff points.

- AO4 Review - evaluating the outcome, the process and own learning. 20%.

Final Mark = AO1 (10) + AO2 (10) + AO3 (20) + AO4 (10) = 50 marks
Because AO3 carries 40%, a beautifully documented project with a weak final product cannot reach the top grades, and a strong product with a thin log cannot either. Both halves must be evidenced.
