UAT-UK is a joint admissions testing service that administers several university admissions tests on behalf of a consortium of UK universities. Your UAT-UK candidate account is created when you first book a test. The login is normally your email address plus a password that you set yourself during booking. The account is also linked to the Pearson VUE booking system, which is why the booking confirmation and the results notification may come from different email addresses.

The October test window is the main sitting for most applicants, because several universities - including Cambridge - require candidates to test in October only. In recent cycles the October sittings have taken place in the middle of the month, and results have been released in mid-November, roughly four to five weeks later.

Some universities accept a January sitting as an alternative to October. In recent cycles, TMUA, ESAT and TARA have all offered a January window, with tests taken in the first half of January and results released in mid-February. The gap follows the same pattern of roughly four to five weeks.

UAT-UK reports scaled scores, never raw marks. A scaled score is produced from your raw mark through statistical equating, which keeps scores comparable between sittings that contain slightly different question sets. This is why you will never be told how many questions you answered correctly.
