ESAT漏报 工程与科学 申请无效 一月场
工程与科学方向的申请人通常把精力放在分数与面试上，忽略了笔试注册本身也是一道门槛。UAT-UK 官网在课程清单里写明，没有注册要求的笔试可能让申请无效。2027 入学的十月场报名在 2026 年 9 月 28 日已经截止，能不能改走一月场，取决于你申请的学校与专业。这篇文章把 ESAT 的适用专业、模块规则与两个考期逐条整理出来，帮申请人判断自己有没有漏报，以及漏报之后还剩哪些通道。
Applications to engineering and science courses are usually judged on scores and interviews, but registering for the right admissions test is a gate of its own. UAT-UK states in its course list that failing to register for a required test may invalidate your application. October booking has already closed for 2027 entry, so the practical question is whether January is still open to you, and that depends entirely on the courses you have chosen.
UAT-UK 由剑桥与帝国理工在 2023 年合办
UAT-UK 是一家非营利机构，由 Imperial College London 与 University of Cambridge 在 2023 年 12 月 1 日合资成立。它旗下只有三项笔试，分别是 ESAT、TMUA 与 TARA。ESAT 与 TMUA 在 2024 年 10 月首考，TARA 在 2025 年 10 月首考。承办方是 Pearson VUE，考点网络覆盖 180 多个国家与地区。英国有七所大学在招生里使用这三项笔试，包括 Imperial、Cambridge、Oxford、LSE、UCL、Warwick 与 Durham。ESAT 主要被 Imperial、Cambridge、Oxford 与 UCL 用在工程、物理、自然科学与兽医学方向。很多学生以为 ESAT 只是帝国理工一家的要求，实际上它同样出现在牛津与剑桥的工程科学课程清单里。
UAT-UK is a non-profit organisation set up on 1 December 2023 as a joint venture between Imperial College London and the University of Cambridge. It runs three admissions tests, namely ESAT, TMUA and TARA, all delivered by Pearson VUE through more than 5,000 test centres in over 180 countries, with ESAT and TMUA first sat in October 2024 and TARA added in October 2025. Seven universities use these tests, and ESAT is the one that appears in engineering, physics, natural sciences and veterinary medicine requirements at Imperial, Cambridge, Oxford and UCL.
官方写明漏报要求的笔试可能让申请失效
UAT-UK 官网在课程清单里写着一句话，没有注册要求的笔试可能使申请无效。这句话不是修辞，它对应招生系统里的筛选逻辑：院校按课程核对你是否注册了指定模块，缺一项就按不完整处理。常见的错误是把笔试当成面试前才需要考虑的事，于是把报名一拖再拖。对 2027 入学来说，十月场的报名在 2026 年 9 月 28 日 18:00 英国时间就已经截止。错过这个日期的工程与科学方向申请人，只能先判断自己是否还符合一月场条件。官网也写明，考生须自行在截止日前完成注册与付款，逾期官方不接受报名。这一步最容易在机构代报代付的误解上丢分，学校没有代办入口，报名只能由考生本人在账号里完成。
The UAT-UK website states plainly that failure to register for a required test may invalidate your application. In practice, universities check course by course whether you registered for the exact modules they list, and a missing registration is treated as an incomplete application rather than a late one. Registration and payment are the candidate's own responsibility, which is why a school cannot book the test on your behalf.
工程与科学是 ESAT 的主要使用方向
三项笔试的分工很清晰，ESAT 面向工程与科学，TMUA 面向数学与经济，TARA 面向需要通识推理的社会科学与人文课程。用 ESAT 的院校是 Imperial、Cambridge、Oxford 与 UCL 四家。专业面覆盖航空、土木、机械、电子电气、化学工程、物理、生物科学、生物化学与兽医。牛津还把 ESAT 用在生物医学工程与生物医学科学的部分路径上。漏报的后果比分数低更严重，分数低只是排序靠后，没有注册可能让这份申请直接不成立。学生最常把这件事与面试准备排在一起，直到十一月核对材料时才想起来。
ESAT sits on the engineering and science side of the three tests, while TMUA covers mathematics and economics and TARA covers reasoning-heavy social science and humanities courses. Four universities use it, namely Imperial, Cambridge, Oxford and UCL, and the courses range from aeronautics, civil, mechanical and electronic engineering to physics, biological sciences, biochemistry and veterinary medicine. A missing registration is worse than a weak score, because a weak score only moves you down a ranking while a missing registration can make the application invalid for that course.
剑桥的工程与自然科学都要求 ESAT
剑桥 H100 工程把 ESAT 的三个模块固定为数学 1、数学 2 与物理，报名时无法换成别的组合。剑桥 BCF0 自然科学的要求宽松一些，只需要数学 1 加上任选两门。D100 兽医学与 H810 化学工程与生物技术同样按数学 1 加任选两门处理。两者的关键差别在于自由选择的课程不会替考生锁定模块，考生自己选的模块要能覆盖另一门固定组合课程的要求。很多学生以为申请自然科学就不用纠结模块，实际上把化学与生物选上之后，数学 2 的位置就没有了。剑桥申请人还要考十月场，只有个别一月截止的成熟学院是例外。课程清单由招生系统逐条核对模块，报错之后没有事后补的通道。
Cambridge fixes three modules for H100 Engineering, namely Maths 1, Maths 2 and Physics, and the combination cannot be swapped once booked. Natural Sciences BCF0, Veterinary Medicine D100 and Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology H810 are looser, taking Maths 1 plus any two modules of your choice. That freedom is not a licence to pick anything, because if you are also applying to a course with compulsory modules, your free choice still has to cover them.
牛津的工程科学物理与化学工程要求 ESAT
牛津在 2027 入学里把 ESAT 放在工程科学 H100、物理 F303、化学工程 H800 与生物医学工程 H811 这几门课上。它们的模块组合与剑桥工程一致，都是数学 1、数学 2 加物理。牛津另有生物医学科学 BC98 这类按数学 1 加任选两门处理的方向。牛津官网写着，同一个申请周期里同时投多所使用 UAT-UK 笔试的院校，同一项笔试只需要考一次。这一点对同时申请牛津工程与帝国理工工程的考生很实用，一次考试的成绩会被两校按各自课程要求取用。大部分学生会在这里丢分的地方不是考试本身，而是把牛津与帝国理工的模块要求当成同一套，结果漏掉了帝国理工化学工程要的化学。
Oxford requires ESAT for Engineering Science H100, Physics F303, Chemical Engineering H800 and Biomedical Engineering H811, all with the same three modules as Cambridge Engineering. Biomedical Sciences BC98 sits in the freer group of Maths 1 plus any two. Oxford also confirms that candidates applying to more than one UAT-UK university in the same cycle only sit the test once.
帝国理工的工程类专业清单最集中
帝国理工是 ESAT 要求最密集的一家。航空 H401、土木 H201 与 H202、机械 H301，以及电子电气 H600、H604、H6N2 与电子信息 HG65、GH56 都要求数学 1、数学 2 加物理。化学工程 H801 的固定组合换成了数学 1、数学 2 加化学。生命科学方向另有生物化学 C700、生物科学 C100、生物技术 J700、微生物 C500 与生态 C180，固定组合是数学 1、化学加生物。设计工程 28G3 是唯一的例外，只考数学 1 与数学 2 两个模块。常见的错误是只看专业名字判断要不要考笔试，设计工程这类只考两模块的课程容易被当成完全不考。
Imperial has the densest list. Aeronautics H401, Civil H201 and H202, Mechanical H301 and the electronic and electrical courses H600, H604, H6N2, HG65 and GH56 all require Maths 1, Maths 2 and Physics; Chemical Engineering H801 swaps Physics for Chemistry; and the life science courses C700, C100, J700, C500 and C180 use Maths 1, Chemistry and Biology. Design Engineering 28G3 is the exception, sitting only two modules.
UCL 只有电子电气工程要求 ESAT
UCL 的要求窄得多，2027 入学只有电子与电气工程 BEng H600 与 MEng H601 需要 ESAT。这两个专业的模块是数学 1 加上生物、化学、物理、数学 2 里的任意两门。UCL 的经济学走 TMUA，计算机与机械工程走 TARA，同一个学校内部也会出现三项笔试并存的情况。考生在填 UCAS 之前，要到课程清单上把每一门课程对应的笔试与模块逐条看下来。这一步最容易出错的地方是把 UCL 的电子电气与帝国理工的电子电气混为一谈，两校的模块规则并不相同。核对清单的入口是 UAT-UK 官网的 Course List，按年度版本看，不要用第三方汇总。
UCL is much narrower: for 2027 entry only Electronic and Electrical Engineering BEng H600 and MEng H601 need ESAT, with Maths 1 plus any two from Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Maths 2. Economics at UCL uses TMUA and Computer Science uses TARA, so one university can require three different admissions tests. Always read the current Course List on the UAT-UK website rather than a third-party summary.
五个模块里数学 1 必修 27 题 40 分钟
ESAT 一共五个模块，数学 1 是所有人必修，再从生物、化学、物理与数学 2 里选两门。每个模块 27 道选择题，时长 40 分钟，把 2400 秒除以 27，平均每道题只有 89 秒。模块之间单独计时，提前做完的时间不结转到下一个模块，也不能回头改上一个模块的答案。考试全程机考，考场发放可擦写的草稿册，计算器与词典都不允许带入。数学 1 的考纲分成 M1 到 M7 七类，覆盖单位、数、比与比例、代数、几何、统计与概率，不含微积分。微积分写在数学 2 里，所有模块都默认考生已经掌握数学 1 的内容。
ESAT has five modules: Maths 1 is compulsory, and you pick two more from Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Maths 2. Each module gives you 27 multiple-choice questions in 40 minutes, which works out at about 89 seconds per question. Timing is per module, so spare time is not carried forward, and the whole test is taken on screen with an erasable booklet supplied, but no calculator and no dictionary.
三类模块要求 固定组合与自由选择
把课程清单读下来，模块要求其实只有三类。第一类是三门固定模块，例如帝国理工的航空工程与化学工程。第二类是一门固定加两门自由，例如剑桥的自然科学。第三类只考两门模块，帝国理工的设计工程就是这种情况。很多学生以为自由选择真的可以随意填，官方口径是自由选择要让位于固定组合，两门课程同时申请时按固定模块多的那门来选。另一种情形是固定组合与自由选择混在一起，比如同时申请牛津物理与牛津生物医学科学。核对的办法只有一个，把两门课程的模块要求并列写出来取并集。
Reading the Course List, module requirements fall into three shapes: three fixed modules, one fixed plus two free, and two modules only. Free choice is not a free-for-all, because UAT-UK states that where one of your courses lists compulsory modules, your selection has to be dictated by that course. Write the two courses' requirements side by side and work out the union before you book.
两门意向专业的模块冲突可能要考四个模块
最麻烦的情形是两门课程都有三门固定模块，并且并不对齐。比如航空 H401 要数学 1、数学 2 加物理，化学工程 H801 要数学 1、数学 2 加化学，两者的并集就是四个模块。官方在常见问题里写明，这种情况可能需要考四个模块，并且在报名之前要先通过账号联系 UAT-UK 取得许可。报名流程里选满四个模块会触发一次审核，审核通过才能继续预约考点。四个模块的总时长是 160 分钟，比常规的三模块多出 40 分钟，体力和注意力都要提前安排。常见的错误是先付款再补申请，付款之后的预约无法再加模块，只能取消重来。
The awkward case is two courses that both list three compulsory modules and do not align. Aeronautics H401 wants Maths 1, Maths 2 and Physics, while Chemical Engineering H801 wants Maths 1, Maths 2 and Chemistry, so the union is four modules. UAT-UK asks you to contact them through your account before booking, and selecting all four on the dashboard triggers a review; four modules take 160 minutes instead of 120.
模块在报名时固定 事后只能取消再重新报名
报名分成两个环节，先在 UAT-UK 账号里添加考试卡并选好模块，再进入 Pearson 系统选考点并付款。模块一旦确认就不能修改或增加，官方给出的唯一路径是取消预约再重新报名。重新报名要受考点余位限制，官方明确不保证还能拿到同一时间与同一考点。改期与取消的时间线只认开考前 48 小时，48 小时之内无法改期，取消与缺考都会损失考试费。考试当天在考点也不能更换模块，监考系统里显示的模块组合就是报名时锁定的那一套。学生最常把模块选择当成选考点时顺手勾一下的项目，它其实决定了两门课程能不能被受理。
Booking has two stages: add a test card and pick modules inside your UAT-UK account, then choose a test centre and pay in the Pearson system. Module selection cannot be changed or added after booking, and the only route is to cancel and re-book, subject to test centre availability. Rescheduling and cancelling are free only up to 48 hours before the appointment, and the test centre cannot change your modules on the day.
两个考期与已经过去的十月报名截止
第一场是十月场，考试从 2026 年 10 月 12 日到 16 日，报名已在 2026 年 9 月 28 日 18:00 英国时间截止，出分日定在 2026 年 11 月 16 日。第二场是一月场，考试从 2027 年 1 月 4 日到 8 日，报名在 2026 年 10 月 26 日 15:00 开放，2026 年 12 月 21 日 18:00 截止，出分日定在 2027 年 2 月 8 日。中国内地、香港与澳门的考区另有固定单日，十月场的 ESAT 只开 12 日或 13 日，一月场只开 1 月 6 日。官方写明一个申请周期里只能注册一次，一月场不是重考。剑桥与牛津的申请人要考十月场，例外只有剑桥一月截止的成熟学院与牛津的 Astrophoria 预科年。错过十月报名的工程与科学方向申请人，先确认目标院校是否接受一月场，再决定是改考期还是调整申请。
The October window runs from 12 to 16 October 2026, with booking closed on 28 September 2026 at 18:00 UK time and results due on 16 November 2026. The January window runs from 4 to 8 January 2027, with booking open from 26 October 2026 and closing on 21 December 2026, and results due on 8 February 2027. You may only register once in an application cycle, January is not a resit, and Cambridge and Oxford applicants are expected to sit in October.
漏报之后按顺序做的三个动作
发现漏报之后，第一个动作是把目标课程在 UAT-UK 官网 Course List 上的笔试与模块要求抄下来，确认自己要考的是 ESAT 还是 TMUA 与 TARA。第二个动作是判断能不能走一月场，帝国理工与 UCL 的工程类课程两场皆可，牛剑只有两条例外。第三个动作是在账号里建好考试卡，把助学金与特殊安排按先申请后报名的顺序补齐，助学金审核最长 5 个工作日，特殊安排最长 10 个工作日。一月场的特殊安排截止在 2026 年 12 月 7 日，助学金截止在 12 月 14 日，报名截止在 12 月 21 日。费用按考点所在地计算，英国与爱尔兰 78 英镑，其他地区 133 英镑。把这三个动作做完，再去看自己的申请还有哪些环节要调整。
Once you notice the gap, pull the current Course List entry for every course you are applying to and write down its test and modules. Then check whether January is open to you, which it normally is at Imperial and UCL but only exceptionally at Cambridge and Oxford. Finally, build the test card, and file the bursary and access arrangement applications before booking, since the bursary takes up to five working days and access arrangements up to ten.
