The mainland China arrangement has been stable for two decades: since 2004 the British Council has co-delivered IELTS with the National Education Examinations Authority, which handles registration, candidate enquiries and test centre administration. That division of labour leaves exactly one official place to book. Two 2026 changes deserve a calendar entry. From 1 January 2026, the fee for IELTS and IELTS for UKVI, paper or computer, is RMB 1990, Life Skills stays at RMB 1250, and the transfer or cancellation fee is a flat RMB 380. From 1 September 2026, every IELTS and UKVI IELTS session in mainland China is computer-delivered, results arrive one to five days after the test, and an electronic report form is issued with the same standing as the paper one.

Booking and payment run through one channel only: the registration site of the National Education Examinations Authority at ielts.neea.cn. The British Council Chinese IELTS site, chinaielts.org, publishes policy notices, fees, test day rules and preparation resources. The official WeChat mini programme, presented as the IELTS official service platform, shows seat availability and takes One Skill Retake bookings, with seat data kept in step with the registration site. New in 2026 are the official WeCom contact, a study companion account, and matching official WeChat groups used for one-to-one answers, test news and official preparation material. Registration questions go to the authority on 010-82345671, while One Skill Retake support sits with the British Council on 010-58103306.

Officially these groups are positioned as a study base. In practice that means four kinds of content: test news and session announcements, official preparation resources, a monthly prize draw that opens after registration and includes test vouchers, and one-to-one support for procedural questions. All of it is information, and none of it involves a score promise. The two uses that pay off are treating the channel as a reminder feed for seat releases, session changes and deadlines, and asking official staff about registration, transfers, cancellations or extra test report forms rather than trusting the classmate in a student group who claims to know an examiner.
官方渠道不会做的四件事
常见的错误是以为进了带官方字样的群就安全了。判断标准不看群名，看行为。官方渠道不会替你报名，报名只能由考生本人在报名网站完成；不会收钱到个人微信或支付宝账户，官方缴费只支持报名网站上的支付宝、中国银行中银智慧付与招行一网通；不会提供真题答案，也不会承诺保分或内部名额；不会通过私聊发送可以下载成绩单的链接，电子成绩单只在报名网站个人主页下载。凡是在群里要求你私下转账、代你操作报名、或者声称能替你改分的，都可以直接退出。
The usual mistake is assuming that a group with the word official in its name is safe. The test is behaviour, not branding. Official channels never register on your behalf, because only the candidate can complete booking on the registration site. They never take money into a personal WeChat or Alipay account, since official payment runs only through the three gateways listed there, namely Alipay, Bank of China Smart Pay and China Merchants Bank. They never supply real exam questions, never promise a guaranteed band or an inside quota, and never send a results download link by private message, because the electronic report form lives in your own account. If someone in a group asks for a private transfer, offers to book for you, or claims they can change a score, leaving the group is the correct response.
官方备考资源怎么用才不浪费
chinaielts.org 的备考页面提供官方写作模拟测评产品，还原考试界面与流程，对标写作的四项评分标准，并给出个性化诊断报告，另外还有机考操作指南与考生须知。用法上建议把官方模考当作定位工具而不是刷题工具：先做一次完整模考拿到分项诊断，再决定剩下的时间投给哪个单科。若目标是 6.5 分以上，写作和口语通常是瓶颈，与其背模板，不如按官方评分标准的四项要求逐条改自己的旧作文，改三篇比新写十篇更有用。
The preparation area of chinaielts.org offers an official writing mock assessment that reproduces the test interface and tasks, aligns with the four marking criteria and returns an individual diagnostic report, alongside a computer test walkthrough and the candidate instructions. Treat the official mock as a placement tool rather than a practice treadmill: sit one full test, read the skill-by-skill diagnosis, then decide where the remaining weeks should go. For a target above 6.5, writing and speaking usually hold candidates back. Rewriting three of your own essays against the four published criteria teaches more than drafting ten new ones.
用官方时间表安排报名与重考
BC 官方口径是全年考位充足、一周多天多场、上下午可自由选择，最晚考前 3 天可以报名，考后最快 1 天出分。出分节奏在 2026 年 9 月 1 日之后统一为考后 1 至 5 天：考试日次日晚 10 点后可查分数，成绩发布次日 10 点后可下载电子成绩单。如果只有单科拖后腿，可以考虑单科重考：前提是在中国大陆参加过 BC 全科机考并拿到成绩单，从原成绩单上的考试日起 60 天内可以注册并参加一次，且必须使用与上次相同的身份证件，报名前还要先向成绩接收机构确认对方是否认可。目前单科重考覆盖北京、上海、广州、深圳、重庆、长沙、宁波七个城市，共 11 个考点，报名费 1400 元，退考或转考费 380 元。
The official line is that seats are available all year, with several sessions a week and a choice of morning or afternoon slots, booking up to three days before the test and results as fast as one day afterwards. Since 1 September 2026 the window is one to five days: scores appear after 10pm on the day following the test, and the electronic report form can be downloaded after 10am the next day. If one skill keeps dragging the total down, a single skill retake may fit. You must have taken a full computer-based British Council test in mainland China, register within 60 days of the test date shown on your original report form, sit it once, and use the same identity document, checking first that the institution receiving your score accepts a retake result. Retakes currently run at eleven centres across Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Chongqing, Changsha and Ningbo, costing RMB 1400, with RMB 380 for a transfer or cancellation.

Timing is where most of the damage happens. Some candidates plan around an outdated post, miss the transfer deadline, and lose the transfer fee along with part of the test fee. Others still assume paper tests dominate and revise on a paper timetable, overlooking that everything from 1 September 2026 is computer-delivered, which means typing fast enough, managing paragraph format and handling the spell check sensibly. A third group treats question recaps shared in unofficial groups as a revision syllabus, ignoring that the criteria reward task response, coherence and lexical precision, and ends up with template-heavy answers that pull the writing score down. None of these losses come from harder questions; they come from a bad information source.
考试当天与出分环节的官方口径
机考考生可以在考前 2 天登录报名网站个人主页打印准考证，页面同时列出考号、口语时间、考点地址与考场号。按教育部教育考试院的说明，考生须正常完成笔试与口试所有科目，并如期参加现场照相，才能收到成绩单。成绩自考试日起 2 年内有效，每位考生只能收到 1 份纸质成绩单原件，需要更多份要在报名网站个人主页申请额外成绩单寄送并支付费用。成绩复议同样在报名网站提交，这两项服务都不需要经过任何第三方，也没有把证件交给群里的人代办的余地。
Admission tickets for computer tests can be printed from your account two days before the test, and the same page lists the test number, speaking time, centre address and room. The examinations authority states that candidates must complete every written and speaking component and attend the photograph session before a report form is issued. Scores remain valid for two years from the test date, only one paper original is sent to each candidate, and further copies must be requested and paid for from your account on the registration site. An enquiry on results is submitted in the same place. Neither service involves an intermediary, and neither is a reason to hand your identity document to anyone in a chat group.

Fixing a short routine beats asking around once a problem appears. Before booking, check session dates and centres on the registration site, confirm availability through the official mini programme, and read the fee page to be sure which product you need, since IELTS, IELTS for UKVI and Life Skills differ in both price and purpose. After booking, confirm your admission ticket and speaking slot, and watch the official computer test walkthrough if that is your format. The day before, check your identity document and the route to the centre. After results, request extra report forms from your account on the registration site, or start the enquiry on results process there if a score looks wrong.
