牛津AQA（OxfordAQA）是国际学校里出现频率很高的一个考试局名字，但它和英国本土的 AQA 不是同一套卷子，也不是牛津大学独立创办的机构。它的正式身份是牛津大学出版社与 AQA 成立的合资考试局，只面向英国境外的学校提供 International GCSE 与 International A-level。把这家考试局的来龙去脉弄清楚，学生在选课、报名和安排考试季时能少走不少弯路。
OxfordAQA runs Oxford International AQA Examinations, a joint venture created to serve schools that teach a British curriculum outside the UK. It is not the same thing as sitting AQA papers in England, and it is not run by the University of Oxford on its own. Its two owners bring different assets: a qualifications specialist with a long examining history and a global publisher with international reach. This article traces how the board was put together, what it offers, when its exam series run, and how candidates in China enter for its qualifications.
一、牛津AQA 的身份：AQA 出资格，牛津大学出版社出网络
牛津AQA 是 2015 年宣布成立的合资机构，英国方面由 AQA 负责国际资格的设计、分发与考务交付，牛津大学出版社带来全球出版资源和国际学校渠道，首批资格证书从 2016 年 9 月起开始授课。牛津AQA 官网对自己的描述是牛津大学出版社（牛津大学的一个部门）与 AQA（英国最大的 GCSE 与 A-level 提供方）之间的合作机构。有一点容易被忽略：翻开任何一份 OxfordAQA 的 specification，首页都写着 for teaching and examination outside the United Kingdom，这套资格是为英国境外学校设计的，英国本土学生不参加这些考试。很多学生以为名字里有牛津，就等于拿到了牛津大学的入学通道，这是两件不同的事，前者是出版社与考试局的商业合作，后者是大学的招生程序。
The company was announced in 2015, and its first qualifications were taught from September 2016. AQA designs the qualifications and handles distribution and delivery; Oxford University Press, a department of the University of Oxford, supplies global reach and publishing support. Every OxfordAQA specification carries the same note on its first page: it is written for teaching and examination outside the United Kingdom. A student in England will never sit these papers. The Oxford name here signals the publisher standing behind the textbooks and resources, not a route into that university's admissions process.
二、AQA 的家底可以追到 1903 年
AQA 官网的 heritage 页面把这条线写得很清楚：1903 年，曼彻斯特、利兹和利物浦三所大学建立了 Joint Matriculation Board，开始提供公共考试；1953 年成立 Associated Examining Board；1992 年 JMB 与 Northern Examining Association 合并为 Northern Examinations and Assessment Board；2000 年 4 月，NEAB 与 AEB 正式合并，组成 Assessment and Qualifications Alliance，也就是今天的 AQA，成为英格兰规模最大的考试局。牛津AQA 材料里说的超过一百年经验，指的就是这条继承线，而不是合资机构本身的年龄。需要分清的是监管口径：AQA 的英国本土资格由 Ofqual 监管，牛津AQA 的国际资格不在这一框架内，走的是 UK ENIC 独立对标这条路。常见的错误是把两边的 past papers 和 mark scheme 直接混用，题目风格、评分细则和考核目标并不通用，刷题刷得越多，错的方向也越固定。
AQA's own heritage page dates the family tree to 1903, when the universities of Manchester, Leeds and Liverpool set up the Joint Matriculation Board. The Associated Examining Board followed in 1953, the Northern Examinations and Assessment Board in 1992, and in April 2000 a merger with the AEB produced the Assessment and Qualifications Alliance, now the largest exam board in England. Claims of more than a century of experience refer to that inheritance rather than to the age of the joint venture itself. The two operations are regulated differently: AQA's UK qualifications sit under Ofqual, while the international suite is benchmarked through a separate route. Past papers from one cannot simply be swapped for the other, because the styles, mark schemes and assessment objectives do not match.
三、科目与结构：International GCSE 线性，International A-level 模块化

The two levels work differently. International GCSEs are linear, so all papers are taken at the end of the course and results are reported on the 9-1 scale. International A-levels are modular, unit by unit, and a candidate may re-sit a single unit and carry the better mark forward. On 24 September 2025 OxfordAQA announced seven new qualifications: five International GCSEs in History (9245), Chinese First Language, Arabic First Language, Sociology and Global Skills Projects, plus two International A-levels in Chinese First Language and Sociology. The same announcement gave the International Extended Project Qualification two submission points a year from May 2026. For a student, the trade-off is concrete, because modular exams allow repairs while also multiplying the number of exam dates to manage.
四、考试季与出分节奏，以及 2027 年之后的调整
官方考试日历公布的窗口是这样安排的：2026 年 11 月季从 10 月 13 日到 11 月 14 日，考 International GCSE 的口语与纸笔试卷；2027 年 1 月季从 1 月 5 日到 19 日，只安排 International AS 与 A-level 的试卷；2027 年 5/6 月季从 4 月 26 日开始，2026 年那一轮则是 4 月 27 日开考。所有公布的开考时间都按英国时间计算，学校可以在公布时间前后各 30 分钟内调整开考。出分方面，2026 年 5/6 月季的 International AS 与 A-level 成绩在 8 月 12 日发给学校、8 月 13 日发给考生，International GCSE 分别对应 8 月 19 日与 8 月 20 日。牛津大学出版社与牛津AQA 公布的调整方案把时间线整体前移：2027 年起 International AS 与 A-level 出分提前到 7 月 28 日，International GCSE 为 8 月 4 日；同一年起 5/6 月季的报名截止延后到 3 月初，学校可以先看到 1 月单元成绩再定报名；2028 年起所有 International AS 与 A-level 科目增加 10/11 月季；2029 年起为生物、化学、物理、数学、进阶数学与经济增加 1 月季。对申请英国本科的学生来说，出分提前两周意味着补录和改志愿的窗口更宽。
The published windows are worth diarising. The November series runs from 13 October to 14 November 2026 and covers International GCSE speaking tests and written papers. The January series runs from 5 to 19 January 2027 and is reserved for International AS and A-level papers. The May/June series opens on 26 April 2027, roughly a day earlier than the 2026 run began. All stated start times are UK time, and a school may bring a paper forward or delay it by up to 30 minutes. For the 2026 May/June series, results for International AS and A-level went to schools on 12 August and to candidates on 13 August, with International GCSE on 19 and 20 August. Three changes have been announced: from 2027 results arrive two weeks earlier, on 28 July for International AS and A-level and 4 August for International GCSE, while the May/June entry deadline moves to early March so schools see January unit results first; from 2028 an October/November series is added for all International AS and A-level subjects; and from 2029 a January series is added for Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Maths, Further Maths and Economics.
五、时差、考试冲突与过夜监考
考试当天最容易出问题的地方不在试卷，在时间。牛津AQA 公布的开考时间一律按英国时间给出，英国夏令时从 3 月最后一个周日 00:01 开始，到 10 月最后一个周六 23:59 结束，因此同一张 5/6 月季的时间表落到中国考场，实际开考时段集中在上午到下午。官网提供按时区换算的开考时间表，可以按国家筛选，考前把每场考试换算成本地时间再排一次，比临考当天才发现第一场是清早要稳妥。同一考季里两场考试撞时间的情况，官方口径是查 OxfordAQA Handbook 里关于考试冲突的处理办法，由学校安排连考或监考隔离。如果因为时差或考场安排需要调整，学校最多可以自行提前或延后 30 分钟，不需要报备。真正需要官方批准的只有过夜监考：必须在使用前填好 Overnight Supervision Declaration 表格，发到 OxfordAQAApproval@aqa.org.uk，表格可以是电子件也可以是纸质件，没交表就先开考属于违规操作。
Timekeeping is where exam days go wrong, not the papers themselves. Published start times are given in UK time, and UK daylight saving runs from 00:01 on the last Sunday of March until 23:59 on the last Saturday of October, so the same May/June timetable lands in Chinese centres across the morning and afternoon locally. A time zone converter with a country filter is published alongside the key dates, and converting every paper into local time before the series starts beats discovering on the day that the first paper is an early sitting. Where two papers clash, the published guidance points schools to the clash section of the OxfordAQA Handbook, which sets out how consecutive sittings or supervised isolation are handled. Schools may move a paper by up to 30 minutes in either direction without notifying the board. Overnight supervision is the one arrangement that needs approval: the declaration form has to reach OxfordAQAApproval@aqa.org.uk before it starts, and it may be stored electronically or on paper.
六、认可度：UK ENIC 的对标报告与大学录取

The international suite is independently evaluated by UK ENIC. The report published on OxfordAQA's site in July 2026 concludes that the qualifications are at the same standard as the GCSEs and A-levels accredited by Ofqual. On admissions, the board states that its qualifications are recognised by every Russell Group university, by the Ivy League and by Australia's Group of Eight, and profile information is available through UCAS. International GCSE results use the 9-1 scale and are reported in the same way as in the UK, and some universities accept International GCSE English as a Second Language or English Language as evidence of English proficiency. The practical risk is not a hidden downgrade, because the benchmark report uses the wording same standard; it is sitting papers without working through the assessment objectives set out in the specification.
七、在中国报名：British Council 与四个考试中心
私人考生在中国可以通过 British Council 报名 OxfordAQA 资格，考试中心设在北京、上海、广州和重庆。以 2026 年 10/11 月季为例，标准报名截止时间是 2026 年 9 月 10 日 17:00（中国时间），逾期报名截止到 9 月 29 日 17:00，逾期会被收取罚金，付款状态没有按时变成成功的也会按下一档收费。成绩与证书方面，2026 年 5/6 月季的 International AS 与 A-level 于 8 月 13 日 16:00 之后向考生公布，International GCSE 是 8 月 20 日；成绩复议的截止时间分别是优先阅卷复核 8 月 19 日、看卷 8 月 26 日、其他服务 9 月 23 日；需要补做 cash-in 的考生，2026 年 9 月 9 日 17:00 前免费。证书只有纸质件，通过邮件通知领取方式。常见的错误是把报名截止记成考试前几周，10/11 月季的截止其实在 9 月，离考试还有一个多月，按考试日期倒排时间线基本都会踩线。
Private candidates in China enter through the British Council, which runs exam centres in Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou and Chongqing. For the October/November 2026 series, the standard registration deadline was 17:00 China time on 10 September 2026, with late entry closing on 29 September and a penalty attached; entries not showing a successful payment by the relevant deadline drop into the next, more expensive stage. On results, the 2026 May/June International AS and A-level grades were released to candidates after 16:00 China time on 13 August, and International GCSE on 20 August. Post-results services close on 19 August for a priority review of marking, 26 August for access to scripts and 23 September for the remaining services, while a late cash-in was free before 17:00 on 9 September 2026. Certificates are issued in hard copy only. Entry deadlines sit well before the exam window, so the registration date, not the exam date, is the one to diarise.
八、落地建议：报名、重考与出分时间线
把牛津AQA 放进申请计划，可以按三条线排。考试季的节奏先定下来：1 月季只开放 International AS 与 A-level，International GCSE 的重考机会集中在 5/6 月与 11 月，选课时要顺着这个节奏安排，别把需要重考的科目全压在同一个季。重考策略紧随其后：模块化结构下重考某个单元通常比整科重考划算，但要先确认目标大学是否接受拼分，部分专业会要求同一考季一次出分。最后是出分与申请的时间差，2027 年起 International AS 与 A-level 出分提前到 7 月 28 日，需要补录或改志愿的学生会多出两周缓冲。落实到日常复习，拉开差距的是把 specification 的 assessment objectives 逐条对着 past papers 练，而不是反复刷同一套卷子。阅卷时看得很清楚，失分集中的地方往往是解释类题目的因果链不完整，计算本身反而很少丢分。
Three lines are worth planning along. Fix the exam calendar first: the January series is for International AS and A-level only, so International GCSE re-sits cluster in May/June and November, and a course plan has to follow that shape instead of stacking every re-sit into one window. Re-sitting strategy comes next, because under a modular structure repeating a single unit is usually a better use of time than repeating a whole subject, although some university courses expect grades from one sitting. The gap between results and applications is the third line, and from 2027 it narrows in the student's favour, with International AS and A-level results moving to 28 July. Day to day, the work that shifts a grade is matching each assessment objective in the specification to past paper practice rather than repeating one paper. In scripts, the marks that go missing are rarely in the arithmetic; they are in explanations whose causal chain stops halfway.
