英国签证 eVisa 行前 UKVI账户 护照关联
从 2026 年 7 月 1 日起，英国签证与移民局（UKVI）停止向新的获批申请人发放护照贴纸，成功申请的人拿到的不再是证件，而是一份数字记录，也就是 eVisa。出发之前，你要自己登录 UKVI 账户，把将使用的那本护照关联好，再确认签证的起止日期、工作与学习条件。很多学生以为决定邮件到手就万事大吉，真正的问题往往出现在出发前一周。这篇文章按 gov.uk 官网的口径，把行前必须完成的动作拆开讲清楚。
From 1 July 2026 UKVI stopped issuing visa vignette stickers to new applicants, so a successful applicant now receives a digital record instead of a document in the passport. Before flying, you sign in to your own UKVI account, link the passport you will travel on, and check the dates and conditions printed on the eVisa. A decision email is not a travel document, and most of the trouble we hear about surfaces in the last week before departure. This piece follows the order the official guidance sets out.
BRP 到期与贴纸停发的两段时间线

The move to digital status came in stages rather than on a single day. Every BRP expired on 31 December 2024, whatever the length of the permission behind it, and the card stopped proving current status from that date. On 25 February 2026 the Home Office confirmed in a written statement to Parliament that most visa nationals applying for a visit visa would receive an eVisa only. The endpoint arrived on 1 July 2026, when UKVI stopped issuing vignettes to successful new applicants altogether.
决定邮件里的链接与 UKVI 账户创建
签证获批以后，UKVI 会把决定邮件发到你申请时填写的邮箱，邮件里写明如何获取 eVisa。你要从邮件里的链接进入 gov.uk 的 get-access-evisa 页面，创建一个 UKVI 账户。这个账户和当初递交申请用的账号不是同一个东西，很多学生把两者混在一起，反复登录失败。创建账户完全免费，官方页面写明不需要支付任何费用。遇到收取代办费的第三方网站，直接关掉页面。常见的错误是用学校邮箱或者即将停用的邮箱注册，验证码收不到时才发现问题。请选一个未来三四年都能用的个人邮箱，再配一个能长期收短信的手机号。邮箱和手机号每次登录都要用，换了要记得在账户里更新。
Once the visa is granted, UKVI emails a decision notice to the address used in the application, and that email explains how to reach your eVisa. You follow its link to the get-access-evisa page on gov.uk and create a UKVI account, which is not the same login you used to submit the application. Setting it up costs nothing, and the official pages state plainly that no fee applies, so a third-party site charging for the service can be closed straight away. The failures we hear about most often start with a school address or an inbox about to expire, so use a personal email and a phone number you will still control in three years.

Three combinations of documents are accepted, and you only need the one that fits your situation. One pairs a valid passport with the visa application number, the GWF or UAN reference you can find in the confirmation email sent at submission. A valid passport with a BRP number also works, so the physical card is not required if you have the number to hand. Where the BRP has already expired, gov.uk allows it for 24 months after the printed expiry date or until 31 December 2026, whichever comes first, and for cards dated 31 December 2024 those two limits fall within weeks of each other.

Identity is confirmed in the UK Immigration: ID Check app on a phone, so there is no queue at a visa application centre. The app scans the chip in your passport or BRP and takes a selfie, matching your face against the photograph stored on the document. Most people finish in under ten minutes and then return to the browser to complete the form, which is the point at which the account is actually created. If you have no valid passport, no expired BRP or no smartphone, gov.uk sets out an alternative route and the form tells you when to use it.
把护照关联到账户是行前最容易漏掉的一步
账户建好不等于可以直接出行，你还要把将要使用的那本护照关联到 UKVI 账户。航空公司在办理登机时会通过系统核对你的许可，护照号码与账户里的记录不一致，柜台就可能拒绝你登机。如果你在拿到签证之后换了新护照，必须在出发前用 Update your UKVI account 服务把新号码填进去。有双重国籍的人可以同时关联两本护照，但一定要用已经关联的那本出行，不要临时换另一本。更新不会立刻生效，官方提示最好提前至少几天完成，并随身带上旧护照作为备用。很多学生以为账户里默认就是申请时用的那本护照，其实关联这一步要自己确认。登机前把决定邮件打印一份带在身上，系统查不到时能省很多解释。
A UKVI account on its own does not get you on the plane, because the passport you travel with has to be linked to it. Carriers check your permission at check-in, and where the number in the system differs from the one in your account, the desk can refuse boarding. Anyone who renewed a passport after the visa was granted must add the new number through the Update your UKVI account service before departure. Dual nationals may link more than one passport, yet they still have to travel on the one that is linked, and updates do not always take effect straight away.

Once you are signed in, treat the eVisa as something to be audited line by line rather than glanced at. Your name and date of birth must match the passport exactly, including any middle name you normally leave out. Check that the route is recorded correctly, for instance as a Student visa rather than a short visit, because the two carry very different conditions. The start and end dates matter most, since landing before the start date can mean being admitted as a visitor, and the work conditions on a Student visa usually cap term-time work at 20 hours a week. A share code is a nine-character string you generate inside your account so that someone else can see your status and its conditions. Landlords run a right to rent check, employers run a right to work check, and before a flight you can generate one for travel as a precaution. Every code is valid for 90 days from the moment it is created, can be used as many times as needed, and can be replaced whenever it expires. Whoever checks it also needs your date of birth, because the two pieces together open up your record on the gov.uk checking service, so never send a screenshot instead of the code itself.

Every person with UK immigration status needs a UKVI account of their own, and that includes a spouse or a child travelling as a dependant. One shared login for the whole family will not work, because each status record sits under the individual it belongs to. A parent can manage a child account and should use their own phone number and email address when creating it, so that they can sign in later. Once the child turns 18 the contact details should be switched to the young person's own, and every account is worth testing before departure rather than on registration day.

Anyone still holding a vignette sticker or a wet-ink stamp in an old passport is in a different position from a BRP holder. Where such a paper document is still in date, gov.uk says it remains valid and is not invalidated by the move to digital records. A No Time Limit application, usually shortened to NTL, converts settled status into an eVisa on a voluntary basis, and it requires fingerprints and a photograph at a UKVCAS service point, so it needs planning well ahead. Applicants without a valid passport only get their account created once the NTL application is approved.

On arrival, a border officer or an eGate reads your permission from the passport itself, so there is nothing to show on a phone, provided the passport you used is linked to your account. If additional proof is requested you can generate a share code on the spot or produce a physical document you are carrying. University registration checks the passport together with the dates and conditions on the eVisa, and some institutions ask you to share your status in advance. Bank accounts and tenancy agreements run the same online checks, which is why having a working account before you land saves trouble later.
出发前一周要完成的检查动作
出发前一周把账户、护照、共享码与决定邮件这四件事过一遍。登录 UKVI 账户确认能进入，忘记邮箱或者手机号就先走账户恢复流程。核对你将要使用的那本护照号码已经关联，新护照更新后等几天再确认生效。生成一个旅行用的共享码并保存下来，保险起见把决定邮件打印一份。检查护照有效期与签证起止日期，把抵达日期安排在许可开始当天或者之后。录取通知书、住宿确认与资金证明准备成电子版与纸质版各一份。很多学生以为这些材料只在签证申请时用得上，到了边检或者学校注册才知道要再看一遍。这四件事各花不到半小时，值得在出发前一周做完。
The week before departure is the right moment to run through the account, the passport, a share code and the decision email. Sign in to the UKVI account to prove you can still get in, and start account recovery straight away if the email or phone number has changed hands. Confirm that the passport you intend to use is linked, allow a few days for a recent update to take effect, and generate a travel share code as a backup. Print the decision email, check that your arrival date falls on or after the start of the permission, and keep electronic and paper copies of the offer letter, accommodation confirmation and financial evidence.

Websites that charge a few hundred pounds for a rushed service hold no extra access and simply do what you can finish in ten minutes. Handing the account to an agent is a second risk, because if the agent disappears, recovery means verifying your identity all over again and can take weeks. Wrong details are just as damaging, since a misspelled name or an incorrect passport number will hold you up at check-in or enrolment, so correct anything you spot through the report an error form before you travel.
