Listening questions are usually marked by points: you receive one mark for each correct musical fact or observation. Extended listening answers may use level descriptors, where examiners judge the overall quality of your response. For Performing and Composing, examiners use level-based mark schemes: they match your work to the best-fitting level and then decide a mark within that band.
