📚 IGCSE Cambridge French: Core Knowledge Points Review | IGCSE Cambridge 法语:核心知识点梳理
This revision guide summarises the core knowledge areas tested in the Cambridge IGCSE French examination. It covers high-yield grammar, essential vocabulary, communication functions and exam techniques across listening, reading, speaking and writing. Use it as a checklist to identify gaps and to build confidence before the assessment.
本复习指南总结了剑桥 IGCSE 法语考试中考查的核心知识领域。它涵盖高频语法、必备词汇、交际功能以及听力、阅读、口语和写作的应试技巧。你可以把它当作清单使用,找出薄弱环节并在考前建立信心。
1. Exam Overview and Assessment Objectives | 考试概览与评估目标
Cambridge IGCSE French (0520) is assessed through four papers: Listening, Reading, Speaking and Writing. Each paper carries roughly a quarter of the total marks, so no single skill can be allowed to drag the final grade down. All four reward accurate comprehension and appropriate, accurate use of French rather than ambition or unnecessary complexity.
剑桥 IGCSE 法语(0520)通过四张试卷进行评估:听力、阅读、口语和写作。每张试卷约占总分的四分之一,因此不能让任何一项技能拖累最终成绩。四张试卷都看重准确的理解和对法语恰当、准确的运用,而不是追求花哨或不必要的复杂。
| Paper | Skill Tested | Core Demand |
|---|---|---|
| Paper 1 Listening | Comprehension of spoken French | Facts, opinions, attitudes, gist and detail |
| Paper 2 Reading | Comprehension of written French | Main points, detail, implied meaning |
| Paper 3 Speaking | Spoken production and interaction | Responding, describing, narrating, opinions |
| Paper 4 Writing | Written production and translation | Accuracy, range, communication of message |
The syllabus is built around five broad topic areas: everyday activities, personal and social life, the world around us, the world of work, and the international world. Every listening, reading, speaking and writing task you meet will sit inside one of these five areas, so vocabulary revision should always be organised topic by topic rather than alphabetically.
教学大纲围绕五大主题:日常活动、个人与社会生活、我们周围的世界、工作世界以及国际世界。你遇到的每一个听力、阅读、口语和写作任务都落在其中一个主题之内,因此词汇复习应当按主题组织,而不是按字母表顺序背诵。
- Listening: understand factual information, opinions and attitudes from short spoken texts.
听力:理解简短口语材料中的事实信息、观点和态度。 - Reading: identify main points, details and implied meaning from written texts.
阅读:识别书面文本的要点、细节和隐含意义。 - Speaking: respond to questions, describe, narrate and express opinions orally.
口语:回答问题,进行描述、叙述并口头表达观点。 - Writing: produce clear, accurate French for a range of purposes, and translate meaning accurately.
写作:为不同目的写出清晰准确的法语,并准确翻译意义。
2. The Five Topic Areas and Vocabulary Building | 五大主题领域与词汇积累
Vocabulary is the single largest determinant of comprehension. A candidate who knows the topic words but is shaky on the pluperfect will still score well; a candidate with perfect grammar and no vocabulary will not. Build word lists under the five syllabus headings, and store each new word inside a full sentence rather than in isolation.
词汇是决定理解成败的最大因素。一个认识主题词汇但过去完成时不稳的考生仍能拿到不错的分数;一个语法完美却没有词汇量的考生则拿不到。请把单词表按五大主题分类整理,并把每个新词放进完整句子里记忆,而不是孤立地背单词。
- Everyday activities: daily routine, meals, school day, hobbies, sport, shopping, transport.
日常活动:日常作息、三餐、上学的一天、爱好、运动、购物、交通。 - Personal and social life: family, friends, relationships, feelings, health, celebrations, fashion.
个人与社会生活:家庭、朋友、人际关系、情绪、健康、节庆、时尚。 - The world around us: weather, environment, town and countryside, travel, media, technology.
我们周围的世界:天气、环境、城镇与乡村、旅行、媒体、科技。 - The world of work: jobs, work experience, future plans, study options, part-time work, money.
工作世界:职业、工作经历、未来计划、升学选择、兼职、金钱。 - The international world: other countries, languages, cultures, global issues, volunteering, exchanges.
国际世界:其他国家、语言、文化、全球议题、志愿活动、交流项目。
A practical technique is the "three-column grid": French word, English meaning, and a personal example sentence that is true for you. Personal sentences are far easier to recall under pressure, and they can often be recycled directly in the speaking and writing papers.
一个实用技巧是"三栏表格":法语词、英文意思,以及一句与你自己真实情况相关的例句。个人化的句子在压力下更容易回忆起来,而且往往可以直接用在口语和写作试卷中。
3. Core Grammar: Tenses and Verb Forms | 核心语法:时态与动词形式
Tenses carry the greatest weight in the grammar mark scheme, and the same set recurs every year: present, perfect, imperfect, future, conditional and pluperfect. Learn the pattern for regular -er, -ir and -re verbs first, then add the high-frequency irregulars.
时态在语法评分中占比最重,而且每年反复考查的都是同一组:现在时、复合过去时、未完成过去时、将来时、条件式和愈过去时。先掌握规则的 -er、-ir、-re 动词变位规律,再补充高频不规则动词。
je parle · j'ai parlé · je parlais · je parlerai · je parlerais · j'avais parlé
Three structures deserve special attention. First, the perfect tense with être takes a past participle that agrees with the subject: elle est allée, ils sont partis, nous nous sommes levés. Second, the immediate future aller + infinitive (je vais partir) is perfectly acceptable and often safer than the full future tense. Third, reflexive verbs are extremely common in the daily-routine topic and must be used with the correct reflexive pronoun in every tense.
有三种结构需要特别关注。第一,用 être 构成的复合过去时,过去分词要与主语性数配合:elle est allée、ils sont partis、nous nous sommes levés。第二,"aller + 不定式"构成的最近将来时(je vais partir)完全可用,而且往往比完整将来时更保险。第三,代词式动词在日常作息主题中极其常见,在任何时态中都必须搭配正确的自反代词。
- Negation: ne ... pas, ne ... jamais, ne ... rien, ne ... personne, ne ... plus.
否定:ne ... pas、ne ... jamais、ne ... rien、ne ... personne、ne ... plus。 - Questions: inversion (parles-tu ?), est-ce que, and simple rising intonation.
提问:倒装(parles-tu ?)、est-ce que 结构,以及简单的升调疑问。 - Depuis + present: J'habite ici depuis trois ans - French uses the present, not the perfect.
depuis + 现在时:J'habite ici depuis trois ans——法语此处用现在时,不用复合过去时。 - Si clauses: si + present → future; si + imperfect → conditional.
条件句:si + 现在时 → 将来时;si + 未完成过去时 → 条件式。
4. Nouns, Articles, Adjectives and Agreement | 名词、冠词、形容词与性数配合
Gender and agreement errors are the most frequent source of lost marks in writing. Every noun has a gender, every adjective must agree with the noun it describes, and every article must match. Treat gender as part of the word itself: learn "une décision", not "décision".
性和配合错误是写作中最常见的失分点。每个名词都有性别,每个形容词都要与所修饰的名词性数一致,每个冠词也必须匹配。要把词性当作单词本身的一部分来记:记"une décision",而不是只记"décision"。
| Article Type | Masculine | Feminine | Plural |
|---|---|---|---|
| Definite | le | la | les |
| Indefinite | un | une | des |
| Partitive | du | de la | des |
The partitive article is essential for food and shopping tasks: je voudrais du pain, de la salade et des pommes. After a negative, du, de la and des normally become de: je ne mange pas de viande. Learn this rule as a fixed habit, because it appears in nearly every restaurant or shopping role play.
部分冠词在食物与购物任务中必不可少:je voudrais du pain, de la salade et des pommes。在否定句中,du、de la、des 通常变为 de:je ne mange pas de viande。请把这条规则练成固定习惯,因为它几乎出现在每一个餐厅或购物角色扮演中。
- Adjective position: most follow the noun (une voiture rouge), but beauty, age, number, goodness and size adjectives precede it.
形容词位置:多数放在名词后(une voiture rouge),但表示美丽、年龄、数量、好坏、大小的形容词放在名词前。 - Irregular feminine forms: beau/belle, vieux/vieille, nouveau/nouvelle, heureux/heureuse.
不规则阴性形式:beau/belle、vieux/vieille、nouveau/nouvelle、heureux/heureuse。 - Comparatives: plus ... que, moins ... que, aussi ... que; meilleur and mieux are irregular.
比较级:plus ... que、moins ... que、aussi ... que;meilleur 与 mieux 为不规则形式。 - Superlatives: le plus / le moins + adjective, with de after it.
最高级:le plus / le moins + 形容词,后接 de。
5. Pronouns, Prepositions and Word Order | 代词、介词与语序
Object pronouns are a classic high-frequency point that separates mid-range and top-range candidates. Learn them in order: me, te, le/la, nous, vous, les for direct objects; me, te, lui, nous, vous, leur for indirect objects. Then add y (replacing à + thing or place) and en (replacing de + noun or a quantity).
宾语代词是区分中档与高分考生的经典高频考点。请按顺序记忆:直接宾语 me、te、le/la、nous、vous、les;间接宾语 me、te、lui、nous、vous、leur。再加上 y(代替 à + 事物或地点)和 en(代替 de + 名词或数量)。
Je le vois. Je lui parle. J'y vais. J'en veux deux.
Position matters. In the present tense the pronoun goes before the verb; in the perfect tense it goes before the auxiliary (je l'ai vu, je leur ai parlé); in the near future it goes before the infinitive (je vais le faire). With negation, ne goes before the pronoun and pas after the verb: je ne le vois pas.
位置很重要。现在时代词放在动词前;复合过去时放在助动词前(je l'ai vu、je leur ai parlé);最近将来时放在不定式前(je vais le faire)。在否定句中,ne 放在代词前,pas 放在动词后:je ne le vois pas。
- Relative pronouns: qui (subject), que (object), dont (of which), où (place or time).
关系代词:qui(主语)、que(宾语)、dont(所属)、où(地点或时间)。 - Prepositions with places: en France, au Canada, aux États-Unis; à Paris, à Londres.
地点介词:en France、au Canada、aux États-Unis;à Paris、à Londres。 - Depuis, pendant, il y a and pour express different time relationships.
depuis、pendant、il y a 与 pour 表达不同的时间关系。 - Stressed pronouns after prepositions: avec moi, chez lui, sans elle.
介词后用重读人称代词:avec moi、chez lui、sans elle。
6. Communication Functions and Useful Phrases | 交际功能与常用表达
Exam tasks are written around communication functions, not around grammar points. The syllabus expects you to greet, introduce, ask for and give information, describe, narrate, express opinions and feelings, agree and disagree, apologise, request, thank and make arrangements. Learn one reliable phrase for each function and rehearse it until it is automatic.
请求与礼貌:je voudrais、pourriez-vous、s'il vous plaît、excusez-moi、merci beaucoup。 - Narration openers: d'abord, ensuite, puis, après, plus tard, enfin, finalement.
叙述连接词:d'abord、ensuite、puis、après、plus tard、enfin、finalement。
Register is also assessed. Use tu with friends, family and classmates, and vous with adults, teachers, shopkeepers and anyone you meet formally. Getting the register wrong in a role play is a genuine communication error, not a minor slip.
语域也在考查范围内。与朋友、家人和同学用 tu,与成年人、老师、店主以及任何正式场合遇到的人用 vous。在角色扮演中用错语域是真实的交际错误,不是小失误。
7. Listening Paper Techniques | 听力应试技巧
The listening paper rewards preparation more than talent. Before the recording starts, read the questions and options carefully and predict what kind of answer is needed: a number, a time, a place, a name, a reason or an opinion. Your prediction focuses attention on the exact moment the answer arrives.
听力试卷更奖励准备,而不是天赋。录音开始前,仔细读题和选项,预测需要什么类型的答案:数字、时间、地点、姓名、原因还是观点。你的预测会把注意力集中在答案出现的那一刻。
- First playing: get the gist, note the topic and the speaker's tone.
第一遍播放:抓住大意,记下话题和说话人的语气。 - Second playing: confirm details and complete any blanks.
第二遍播放:确认细节,补全所有空白。 - Never leave a blank - an educated guess costs nothing and may be right.
绝不留空——合理猜测没有代价,而且可能猜对。 - Watch for distractors: a speaker may mention several options before deciding on one.
警惕干扰项:说话人可能先提到几个选项,最后才确定一个。
Number, time and date questions are the most common trap. French uses soixante-dix (70), quatre-vingts (80) and quatre-vingt-dix (90), while times often use the 24-hour clock in announcements. Be ready for l'après-midi, le soir and vingt heures to appear in the same question.
数字、时间和日期题是最常见的陷阱。法语用 soixante-dix(70)、quatre-vingts(80)和 quatre-vingt-dix(90),而广播通知中的时间常采用 24 小时制。同一个题目里出现 l'après-midi、le soir 和 vingt heures 是很正常的,要提前适应。
8. Reading Paper Techniques | 阅读应试技巧
Reading texts in the exam include emails, blogs, articles, advertisements, notices, letters, brochures and short literary extracts. Each has a recognisable layout, and recognising the text type tells you where the key information normally sits - a price in an advertisement, a date in a notice, an opinion in a personal email.
考试阅读文本包括电子邮件、博客、文章、广告、通知、信件、宣传册和短篇文学节选。每种文本都有可识别的版式,辨认出文本类型就能预判关键信息通常在什么位置——广告中的价格、通知中的日期、私人邮件中的观点。
- Skim first for the topic and general meaning, then scan for the specific detail the question asks for.
先略读把握话题和大意,再扫读定位题目要求的具体细节。 - Underline or highlight the words in the text that justify your answer; this drastically reduces careless errors.
在文本中划出支持你答案的词句;这能大幅减少粗心错误。 - Answer in the language and format required, and keep answers short unless the question asks for full sentences.
按要求使用的语言和格式作答;除题目要求写完整句子外,答案尽量简短。 - Do not copy long chunks of text as an answer - markers look for the key idea, not for volume.
不要把大段原文抄作答案——评分看的是关键信息,而不是篇幅。
False friends are the classic reading trap. Actuellement means "currently", not "actually". Éventuellement means "possibly", not "eventually". Une librairie is a bookshop, not a library. Blessé means "injured", not "blessed". Sensible means "sensitive", and une pièce is a room as well as a coin.
假朋友词是阅读的经典陷阱。Actuellement 意为"目前",而不是"实际上"。Éventuellement 意为"可能",而不是"最终"。Une librairie 是书店,不是图书馆。Blessé 意为"受伤的",不是"被祝福的"。Sensible 意为"敏感的",而 une pièce 既指房间也指硬币。
9. Speaking Paper Techniques | 口语应试技巧
The speaking assessment normally includes a role play, a discussion based on a stimulus such as a photograph or a short text, and a general conversation on familiar topics. Each part tests slightly different behaviour: the role play tests transactional language, the discussion tests description and opinion, and the conversation tests sustained narration.
口语评估通常包括角色扮演、基于图片或短文等材料的讨论,以及围绕熟悉话题的一般对话。每一部分考查的行为略有不同:角色扮演考查事务性语言,讨论考查描述与观点,对话考查持续叙述能力。
- Prepare three or four go-to structures for each topic so that you never fall silent.
为每个主题准备三到四个"万能句式",确保不会陷入沉默。 - Extend every answer with a reason: parce que, car, c'est pourquoi.
为每个回答补充理由:parce que、car、c'est pourquoi。 - Use fillers in French rather than English: alors, donc, eh bien, attendez, comment dire ...
用英语而非法语填充词是大忌,请用:alors、donc、eh bien、attendez、comment dire ... - If you do not understand, ask in French: Pouvez-vous répéter, s'il vous plaît ?
如果没听懂,用法语提问:Pouvez-vous répéter, s'il vous plaît ?
Pronunciation points worth ten minutes of daily practice include the nasal vowels (on, an, in, un), the distinction between u and ou (tu / tout), the silent final consonants, and liaison in phrases such as vous avez, ils ont and c'est un. Small pronunciation wins make a disproportionately strong impression on the examiner.
每天花十分钟练习的发音要点包括:鼻化元音(on、an、in、un)、u 与 ou 的区别(tu / tout)、词尾不发音辅音,以及 vous avez、ils ont、c'est un 等短语中的联诵。发音上的小进步会给考官留下远超比例的好印象。
10. Writing Paper Techniques | 写作应试技巧
The writing paper typically asks for short transactional messages, one longer piece of continuous writing, and some translation. Check the current syllabus for exact word counts and marks. Whatever the format, three qualities are rewarded: completing the task, communicating clearly, and writing accurately at the level you can control.
写作试卷通常要求写简短的交际信息、一篇较长的连贯作文,以及一些翻译任务。请查阅当前考纲以确认准确字数与分值。无论形式如何,被奖励的始终是三点:完成任务、表达清楚、在自己能掌控的水平上写准确。
- Read the task twice and underline every bullet point; each one must appear in your answer.
把题目读两遍并划出每个要点;每一个都必须出现在答案中。 - Plan for two minutes - five or six ideas in note form, ordered logically.
用两分钟列提纲——以笔记形式写出五六个想法,并排好逻辑顺序。 - Write in the tense the task demands: past events need the perfect and imperfect, plans need the future.
用题目要求的时态写作:过去发生的事需要复合过去时和未完成过去时,计划需要将来时。 - Leave two minutes to check verb endings, adjective agreement, accents and articles.
留两分钟检查动词词尾、形容词配合、重音符号和冠词。
Aim for accuracy over ambition. A correct short sentence scores better than a long sentence that collapses halfway through. Fixed sequences such as d'abord ... ensuite ... puis ... finalement give structure and buy you time to think while still sounding fluent.
要追求准确而非冒险。一句正确的短句胜过一个中途崩溃的长句。d'abord ... ensuite ... puis ... finalement 这类固定序列能提供结构,同时给你思考时间,听起来依然流畅。
11. Common Errors and Exam-Day Checklist | 常见错误与考前清单
Most lost marks come from a short list of repeating errors rather than from lack of knowledge. Review this list before the exam and check your own past homework against it; the pattern you find there is almost certainly the pattern that will appear again in the assessment.
