📚 IGCSE WJEC German: High-Frequency Topics and Common Mistakes Analysis | IGCSE WJEC 德语:高频考点与易错题分析
This revision guide examines the grammar and vocabulary areas that most often appear in WJEC IGCSE German papers. Many marks are lost not because of weak vocabulary, but because of small slips in case, word order and tense. Each section below pairs a high-frequency topic with a typical error and its correction, so that you can turn recurring weaknesses into reliable marks.
本复习指南研究 WJEC IGCSE 德语试卷中最常出现的语法与词汇考点。许多失分并非因为词汇量不足,而是格、语序和时态方面的小错误。下面每一节都将一个高频考点与典型错误及其改正配对讲解,帮助你把这些反复出现的薄弱点转化为稳定得分点。
1. How the Exam Tests High-Frequency Language | 考试如何考查高频语言点
The WJEC IGCSE German papers are built around a small, predictable set of familiar contexts, and the language used to talk about them repeats from year to year. Reading and listening questions reward candidates who can follow case endings, recognise word-order patterns and identify tenses; the writing and speaking components reward candidates who can produce those same patterns accurately and independently.
WJEC IGCSE 德语试卷围绕一小批可预测的熟悉情境展开,用于谈论这些情境的语言年年重复出现。阅读和听力题奖励那些能看懂格词尾、识别语序模式、辨别时态的考生;写作和口语部分则奖励那些能准确、独立地产出同样结构的考生。
Most marks are lost to small mechanical slips rather than to gaps in vocabulary. A correct verb form placed in the wrong position, a dative where an accusative is required, or a perfect tense built with the wrong auxiliary will cost more than an unusual word would ever gain.
绝大多数失分源于细小的机械性错误,而不是词汇量缺口。动词形式正确却放错位置、该用四格却写成三格、完成时助动词选错,这些扣分都比使用一个生僻词所获得的加分更多。
The recurring topic areas are entirely predictable: family and friends, daily routine and school, free time and hobbies, holidays and travel, healthy living, local area and environment, technology and social media, and future plans or work. Each brings its own set of high-frequency verbs, prepositions and structures.
高频话题完全可预测:家庭与朋友、日常作息与学校、闲暇与爱好、假期与旅行、健康生活、周边环境、科技与社交媒体、未来计划与职业。每个话题都有自己的一套高频动词、介词和结构。
What follows is therefore organised as a diagnostic list. Read each section, decide whether the described error looks like something you do, and then apply the correction in your next piece of writing.
因此下文按"诊断清单"的方式来组织。阅读每一节时,先判断其中描述的错误是否像你会犯的错,然后在下一篇作文中应用给出的改正方法。
2. The Four Cases and Article Endings | 四个格与冠词词尾
The four German cases are tested in reading, writing and speaking. Nominative is used for the subject, accusative for most direct objects, dative for the indirect object and after certain verbs and prepositions, and genitive for possession.
德语四个格在阅读、写作和口语中都会考查。一格主格用于主语,四格用于大多数直接宾语,三格用于间接宾语以及某些动词和介词之后,二格属格表示所属关系。
The single most useful thing you can memorise is the definite article table. Almost every other ending in German can be worked out from it, because the adjective endings copy the article endings whenever the article itself does not show the case clearly.
最值得背下来的是定冠词变格表。德语中几乎其他所有词尾都能由它推导出来,因为当冠词本身不能清楚显示格时,形容词词尾就会复制冠词的词尾。
| Case 格 | Masculine 阳性 | Feminine 阴性 | Neuter 中性 | Plural 复数 |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Nominative 一格 | der | die | das | die |
| Accusative 四格 | den | die | das | die |
| Dative 三格 | dem | der | dem | den (+n) |
| Genitive 二格 | des (+s) | der | des (+s) | der |
Two details in that table carry a lot of marks. In the dative plural the noun itself adds -n (den Kindern, den Freunden) unless it already ends in -s or -n. In the genitive, masculine and neuter nouns add -s or -es (des Vaters, des Hauses).
表格中有两个细节格外重要。三格复数时名词本身要加 -n(den Kindern、den Freunden),除非它已以 -s 或 -n 结尾。二格中阳性和中性名词要加 -s 或 -es(des Vaters、des Hauses)。
The indefinite article follows the same pattern with one gap: masculine nominative is ein, but there is no ending on ein in the neuter nominative and accusative, which is exactly why the adjective has to work harder there: ein guter Wein, ein gutes Brot.
不定冠词遵循同样的模式,但有一个空缺:阳性一格是 ein,而中性的一格和四格中 ein 没有词尾,这正是形容词在这些位置必须"多干活"的原因:ein guter Wein、ein gutes Brot。
3. Nominative and Accusative in Practice | 一格与四格的实际运用
Only the masculine forms change between nominative and accusative, which is precisely why masculine nouns are where examiners find the most errors. If the noun is masculine and it is the direct object, der becomes den and ein becomes einen.
只有阳性形式在一格与四格之间有变化,这正是考官最容易在阳性名词上发现错误的原因。如果名词是阳性且作直接宾语,der 变成 den,ein 变成 einen。
Der Mann kauft den Computer. → Er kauft ihn.
Ich habe einen Bruder und eine Schwester.
A typical slip looks like this: "Ich sehe der Mann" instead of "Ich sehe den Mann". The subject of the sentence is still the speaker, so the man must be in the accusative. Ask yourself who is doing the action and who is receiving it before you write the article.
典型错误是这样:写"Ich sehe der Mann"而不是"Ich sehe den Mann"。句子的主语仍是说话者,因此"那个男人"必须用四格。写冠词之前先问自己:谁在做动作,谁在接受动作。
Certain prepositions always take the accusative and are worth learning as a fixed list: durch, für, gegen, ohne, um, bis and entlang. They appear constantly in everyday WJEC contexts, for example "für meinen Bruder", "ohne meinen Freund", "um den See", "gegen die Regeln".
某些介词永远接四格,值得当作固定清单背下来:durch、für、gegen、ohne、um、bis、entlang。它们在 WJEC 的日常情境中出现得极其频繁,例如"für meinen Bruder""ohne meinen Freund""um den See""gegen die Regeln"。
Two further structures also trigger the accusative and are easy marks once learned: the phrase "es gibt" plus accusative ("Es gibt einen Supermarkt in meiner Stadt"), and the impersonal accusative pronouns mich and dich used with feelings ("Es freut mich", "Ich langweile mich").
4. The Dative: Verbs, Prepositions and Indirect Objects | 三格:动词、介词与间接宾语
The dative is the case most often forgotten, because it is invisible in English. It appears after a fixed group of verbs, after a fixed group of prepositions, and as the indirect object in sentences with two objects.
三格是最容易被遗忘的格,因为英语中看不出对应形式。它出现在固定的一组动词之后、固定的一组介词之后,以及带有两个宾语时的间接宾语位置。
Learn the dative verbs as a chant, because there is no logic to them: helfen, danken, gefallen, gehören, folgen, passen, schmecken, antworten, gratulieren, glauben (a person), wehtun, leidtun.
把三格动词当成口诀来背,因为它们没有逻辑可循:helfen、danken、gefallen、gehören、folgen、passen、schmecken、antworten、gratulieren、glauben(指人)、wehtun、leidtun。
Ich helfe meinem Bruder. / Das Buch gehört meiner Schwester. / Die Farbe gefällt mir.
The dative prepositions also form a closed list: aus, bei, mit, nach, seit, von, zu and gegenüber. Under exam pressure, "mit meinem Bruder" becomes "mit meinen Bruder" far too easily, so run through the list mentally before writing.
三格介词同样是封闭清单:aus、bei、mit、nach、seit、von、zu、gegenüber。在考试压力下,"mit meinem Bruder"极易被写成"mit meinen Bruder",所以落笔前先在脑中过一遍这张清单。
The two-way prepositions — an, auf, in, über, unter, vor, hinter, neben, zwischen — take the accusative when there is movement towards a destination and the dative when there is position or movement within a place. Ask "Wohin?" for the accusative and "Wo?" for the dative.
双向介词——an、auf、in、über、unter、vor、hinter、neben、zwischen——表示朝某处移动时接四格,表示位置或在某处内部移动时接三格。问"Wohin?"(去哪里)用四格,问"Wo?"(在哪里)用三格。
| Wohin? 去哪里 (Accusative 四格) | Wo? 在哪里 (Dative 三格) |
|---|---|
| Ich gehe in die Stadt. | Ich bin in der Stadt. |
| Ich hänge das Bild an die Wand. | Das Bild hängt an der Wand. |
| Ich lege das Buch auf den Tisch. | Das Buch liegt auf dem Tisch. |
Notice the verb pairs legen/liegen and stellen/stehen: the "placing" verb takes the accusative, the "resting" verb takes the dative. Examiners like these pairs because they separate candidates who understand the case system from those who are guessing.
注意 legen/liegen 与 stellen/stehen 这两对动词:"放置"类动词接四格,"静置"类动词接三格。考官喜欢考这些动词,因为它们能区分真正理解格体系的考生和靠猜的考生。
5. The Genitive and Its Alternatives | 二格及其替代形式
The genitive shows possession and is still tested in reading passages and in more ambitious writing. The masculine and neuter forms add -s or -es to the noun as well as changing the article.
二格表示所属关系,在阅读文章以及水平较高的写作中仍会被考查。阳性和中性形式除了冠词变化外,名词本身还要加 -s 或 -es。
das Auto meines Vaters / die Farbe des Hauses / wegen des Wetters / trotz der Kälte
A fixed set of prepositions governs the genitive and appears in formal registers: wegen, trotz, während, statt, innerhalb, außerhalb, dank. In speaking, German speakers often replace the genitive with von plus the dative, and this is acceptable in the exam conversation.
有一组固定介词支配二格,出现在较正式的语体中:wegen、trotz、während、statt、innerhalb、außerhalb、dank。口语中德语母语者常用 von 加三格代替二格,这在考试口试中是可以接受的。
das Auto von meinem Vater ⇌ das Auto meines Vaters
The possessive articles — mein, dein, sein, ihr, unser, euer, Ihr — behave like ein-words, so they follow the same ending pattern as the indefinite article. This is why "meine Schwester" (feminine nominative and accusative) and "meinem Bruder" (masculine dative) look different.
物主冠词——mein、dein、sein、ihr、unser、euer、Ihr——的变格与 ein 类词相同,因此遵循与不定
