1. What Are the FP2 AQA Papers? | 什么是 AQA FP2 真题
FP2 - Further Pure 2 - was the second compulsory pure unit in AQA's legacy modular A-level Further Mathematics specification (6360). It sat alongside FP1, FP3 and FP4 in the pure strand, and candidates normally took it at the end of Year 13. A typical FP2 paper was a short, dense written paper: roughly 75 marks in 1 hour 30 minutes, with no multiple choice and almost no "free" marks.

Because the unit was modular, it ran twice a year - in January and in June - until the January series was withdrawn after January 2013. That is why the archive below contains January papers from 2006 to 2013 and June papers from 2006 to 2016.

2. Why Past Papers Decide Your Grade | 真题为什么决定你的分数
FP2 is a small-content, high-precision unit. The number of distinct question types is limited, and AQA recycled the same structures with new numbers almost every session. Working through the whole archive therefore gives you something close to a preview of the paper.

June papers form the main body of the archive, running from 2006 to 2016. June 2016 was the final session of the legacy specification, which makes it a good benchmark for the standard AQA expected at the end of the modular era.
