📚 GCSE WJEC German: Quick Reference to Formulas and Rules | GCSE WJEC 德语:公式定理速查手册

This GCSE WJEC German revision guide compiles the essential grammar 'formulas' you need to know for the exam. Just as you memorise equations in science, mastering these patterns will boost your accuracy in speaking and writing. Every formula below has three parts: a fixed structure, a slot for your own vocabulary, and a predictable result that examiners can mark. Use this handbook for quick reference during homework, for active recall in the final weeks, and for last-minute review on the morning of the exam.

这本 GCSE WJEC 德语复习手册汇总了你必须掌握的关键语法“公式”。就像你在科学中记忆方程式一样,掌握这些句型结构能大幅提高口语和写作的准确性。下面每一条公式都由三部分组成:固定结构、可替换的词汇空位,以及考官可以直接给分的可预测结果。你可以在做作业时随时查阅,在考前几周用它做主动回忆,也可以在考试当天早晨做最后的快速温习。

1. How to Use This Handbook as a Formula Bank | 如何把本手册当作公式库使用

Treat grammar as mathematics. A formula such as stem + -e, -st, -t, -en, -t, -en is a machine: you feed a verb in, and a correct sentence comes out. The most efficient revision method is to learn one formula, then write five original sentences with WJEC core vocabulary from your three themes: identity and culture, local and global areas of interest, and current and future study and employment.

把语法当作数学来对待。像 词干 + -e, -st, -t, -en, -t, -en 这样的公式就是一台机器:你把动词喂进去,出来的就是一个正确的句子。最高效的复习方法是:先记住一条公式,然后用 WJEC 三大主题的核心词汇造五个原创句子——身份与文化、本地与全球关注领域、当前与未来的学习与就业。

Use the traffic-light system to track your own accuracy. Green means you can produce the pattern without thinking. Amber means you recognise it but still make small errors. Red means you need to copy the model sentences by hand and repeat them aloud.

用“红黄绿”三色标记法跟踪你的准确率。绿色表示你能不加思考地输出该结构;黄色表示你认得出但还会犯小错;红色表示你需要手抄例句并大声重复。

Finally, never learn a pattern without a personal example. 'Ich spiele Fußball' is easier to remember than an abstract table, because your own life supplies the meaning and the meaning protects the form.

最后,绝不要脱离个人例句去记结构。“Ich spiele Fußball”比一张抽象表格更容易记住,因为你的生活提供了意义,而意义会保护形式不被遗忘。

2. Present Tense Regular Verbs | 现在时规则动词

To conjugate regular verbs in German, remove the -en from the infinitive to find the stem. Then attach the following personal endings: -e, -st, -t, -en, -t, -en. For example, the verb spielen (to play) uses the stem spiel-.

规则动词现在时变位:去掉不定式词尾 -en 得到词干,再加上相应的人称词尾:-e, -st, -t, -en, -t, -en。以 spielen(玩)为例,词干为 spiel-。

Stem + -e, -st, -t, -en, -t, -en

Pronoun | 人称代词spielen | 玩machen | 做
ichspielemache
duspielstmachst
er / sie / esspieltmacht
wirspielenmachen
ihrspieltmacht
sie / Siespielenmachen

Three small traps deserve attention. If the stem ends in -d or -t, an extra -e is inserted after du, er/sie/es and ihr: du arbeitest, er arbeitet, ihr arbeitet; du findest, er findet. If the stem ends in -s, -ß, -z or -x, the du-form only adds -t: du reist, du heißt, du sitzt. Verbs ending in -eln or -ern lose the e in the ich-form: ich sammle, ich wandere.

有三个小陷阱值得注意。若词干以 -d 或 -t 结尾,在 du、er/sie/es 和 ihr 之后要插入一个 -e:du arbeitest, er arbeitet, ihr arbeitet;du findest, er findet。若词干以 -s、-ß、-z 或 -x 结尾,du 形式只加 -t:du reist, du heißt, du sitzt。以 -eln 或 -ern 结尾的动词在 ich 形式中省略 e:ich sammle, ich wandere。

3. sein, haben, werden and the Modal Verbs | sein、haben、werden 与情态动词

Four verb families carry most of the weight in GCSE German. Learn them as fixed blocks, because they are irregular and because every tense you build later depends on them.

有四组动词承担了 GCSE 德语的大部分重量。请把它们当作固定模块背下来,因为它们不规则,而且你之后构建的每一个时态都依赖它们。

Pronounsein | 是haben | 有werden | 成为
ichbinhabewerde
dubisthastwirst
er / sie / esisthatwird
wirsindhabenwerden
ihrseidhabtwerdet
sie / Siesindhabenwerden

Modal verb in position 2 + ... + infinitive at the end

Modal verbs follow one elegant formula: the modal takes the second position and the main verb becomes an infinitive at the very end of the clause. The six exam modals are können (can), müssen (must), dürfen (may, be allowed), wollen (want), sollen (should, be supposed to) and mögen / möchten (like, would like).

情态动词遵循一条优雅的公式:情态动词占第二位,主动词变成不定式放在句末。考试中的六个情态动词是 können(能)、müssen(必须)、dürfen(可以、被允许)、wollen(想要)、sollen(应该)和 mögen / möchten(喜欢、想要)。

Ich kann heute nicht kommen. Du musst mehr lernen. Wir dürfen hier nicht rauchen. Ich möchte einen Kaffee, bitte. Notice that ich and er/sie/es take no ending: ich kann, er kann; ich muss, er muss. This is the single most examined feature of modal verbs.

Ich kann heute nicht kommen. Du musst mehr lernen. Wir dürfen hier nicht rauchen. Ich möchte einen Kaffee, bitte. 注意 ich 和 er/sie/es 形式不加词尾:ich kann, er kann;ich muss, er muss。这是情态动词最常被考的一个特点。

4. Stem-Changing and Irregular Present Tense | 换音、变音与不规则现在时

A small group of strong verbs changes its stem vowel, but only in the du-form and the er/sie/es-form. Learn them as pairs, because they appear constantly in WJEC reading and listening papers.

一小类强变化动词会改变词干元音,但只发生在 du 形式和 er/sie/es 形式。请把它们成对记忆,因为它们会不断出现在 WJEC 的阅读和听力试卷中。

Stem change only in du and er / sie / es — never in wir, ihr, sie / Sie

Wir fahren, ihr fahrt, sie fahren: the plural forms keep the original vowel. The verb wissen (to know) is a hybrid and must be memorised separately: ich weiß, du weißt, er weiß, wir wissen, ihr wisst, sie wissen.

Wir fahren, ihr fahrt, sie fahren:复数形式保留原元音。动词 wissen(知道)属于混合变化,必须单独记忆:ich weiß, du weißt, er weiß, wir wissen, ihr wisst, sie wissen。

Two more irregulars are worth their weight in marks: mögen (ich mag, du magst, er mag) and the command forms that inherit stem changes, such as Gib!, Lies! and Nimm!

还有两个不规则动词的分值很高:mögen(ich mag, du magst, er mag),以及继承换音的命令式,如 Gib!、Lies! 和 Nimm!。

5. Word Order Formulas: Verb Second and Verb Final | 语序公式:动词第二位与动词末位

German word order is a formula, not a feeling. In a main clause the conjugated verb is always in the second position, whatever occupies the first slot. This produces what teachers call inversion.

德语的语序是公式,不是感觉。在主句中,变位动词永远在第二位,无论第一位放了什么。这就产生了老师们所说的“倒装”。

Ich spiele heute Fußball. Heute spiele ich Fußball. Fußball spiele ich heute. In each sentence the verb stays second and the subject moves after it when something else leads.

Ich spiele heute Fußball. Heute spiele ich Fußball. Fußball spiele ich heute. 在每一句中动词都在第二位;当别的成分前置时,主语就移到动词后面。

Subordinating conjunction → verb goes to the end of the clause

Subordinating conjunctions such as weil (because), dass (that), wenn (if, when), als (when, one-off past), obwohl (although), damit (so that) and ob (whether) push the conjugated verb to the end: Ich bleibe zu Hause, weil ich krank bin. If the subordinate clause comes first, the main clause verb follows the comma immediately: Weil ich krank bin, bleibe ich zu Hause.

从句连词如 weil(因为)、dass(that)、
