欢迎来到我们针对 Year 13 WJEC 法语 Unit 4 模拟考的详细解析。这份试卷测试听力、阅读、翻译和论文写作。我们将分析典型题目,提供参考答案,并强调能帮你把"不错的法语"转化成"高分"的关键策略。
1. Paper Overview and Grade Boundaries | 试卷概览与分数线
Unit 4 is a written paper of 2 hours 30 minutes worth 100 marks. It is divided into three sections: Section A: Listening (20 marks), Section B: Reading (40 marks) and Section C: Writing (40 marks). Section C contains a translation from English into French, a translation from French into English, and one essay based on a film or literary text you have studied. Because the writing section alone is worth 40% of the paper, it is where most grade differences are created.
Unit 4 是一场 2 小时 30 分钟的笔试,满分 100 分。它分为三个部分:Section A 听力(20 分)、Section B 阅读(40 分)和 Section C 写作(40 分)。Section C 包含一篇英译法、一篇法译英,以及一篇基于你所学习的电影或文学作品的论文。由于写作部分本身就占了全卷 40%,它才是拉开分数差距的关键区域。
The table below shows the structure, the marks and a sensible time allocation for the real exam. Use the same proportions when you sit your mock so that your practice rehearses the real conditions.
下表列出了试卷结构、分数以及真实考试中合理的时间分配。参加模拟考时请使用同样的比例,让你的练习真正模拟实战条件。
| Section | 部分 | Content | 内容 | Marks | 分值 | Time | 建议用时 |
|---|---|---|---|
| A | Listening | 听力 | 20 | 30 min |
| B | Reading | 阅读 | 40 | 50 min |
| C | Translation + Essay | 翻译 + 论文 | 40 | 70 min |
Grade boundaries are set each summer, so treat any figure as indicative rather than guaranteed. In a typical year an A* sits around 70/100, an A around 63, a B around 55, a C around 47, a D around 40 and an E around 33. The mock is therefore a diagnostic tool: if you score 58 you are working at a solid B, and the gap to an A is usually a small number of avoidable grammar and structure errors, not a lack of knowledge.
分数线每年夏天才划定,所以任何数字都只能视为参考值而非保证值。典型年份中,A* 大约在 70/100,A 约 63,B 约 55,C 约 47,D 约 40,E 约 33。因此模拟考是一个诊断工具:如果你拿到 58 分,说明你处在扎实的 B 水平,而通往 A 的差距通常只是少数本可避免的语法与结构错误,并不是知识缺失。
2. Listening: Question Types and Tactics | 听力部分:题型与应试策略
Section A normally contains two recorded passages, each played twice. The recordings are authentic-style material: a radio interview, a news report, a phone conversation or a short documentary extract. Speakers talk at natural speed, which means you must train your ear to survive incomplete comprehension instead of waiting for every word.
Section A 通常包含两段录音,每段播放两遍。录音是真实风格的材料:电台访谈、新闻报道、电话对话或短纪录片片段。说话者使用自然语速,这意味着你必须训练耳朵在"没有全听懂"的情况下继续答题,而不是等每一个词。
Question types recur in predictable patterns. Multiple-choice questions are usually written in English; short-answer questions require a few words in French; true or false statements sometimes demand a justification copied or adapted from the recording; gap-fill questions test numbers, dates, names and key nouns.
题型反复出现,规律可循。选择题通常用英文书写;简答题需要用几个法语词作答;判断题有时要求你从录音中抄写或改写依据;填空题则考查数字、日期、人名和关键名词。
- Read the questions during the pause before the recording starts and underline the key words. | 在录音开始前的停顿里读题,划出关键词。
- Predict the vocabulary field: if the topic is unemployment, expect chômage, embauche, allocation, intérim. | 预测词汇场:如果话题是失业,就要预判 chômage、embauche、allocation、intérim 等词。
- Write something on every line, even if you are unsure; a partially correct answer can still earn a mark. | 每一行都要写内容,即使不确定;部分正确也可能得分。
- Use the second playing to check details you guessed, not to start from scratch. | 第二遍播放用来核对猜写的细节,而不是从头重听。
Watch out for distractors. A speaker may mention a statistic and then correct it: "on m'avait dit vingt pour cent, en fait c'est plutôt douze". Discourse markers such as en fait, au contraire, cependant, d'une part and il ne s'agit pas de signal that the meaning is about to turn. Numbers, prices and times are the most common traps in the whole section.
要提防干扰信息。说话者可能先提到一个数据,随后更正:"on m'avait dit vingt pour cent, en fait c'est plutôt douze"。像 en fait、au contraire、cependant、d'une part 以及 il ne s'agit pas de 这类话语标记,往往预示着语义即将转折。数字、价格和时间是整个部分最常见的陷阱。
A ten-minute daily routine beats an hour on Sunday. Listen to a short news bulletin, note five facts and five new words, then replay it a day later and check what you retained. This trains working memory, which is exactly what the exam tests.
每天十分钟的固定练习胜过周日突击一小时。听一段简短新闻播报,记下五个事实和五个生词,第二天再回听并检查记住了多少。这训练的是工作记忆,而工作记忆恰恰是考试真正考查的能力。
3. Reading: Skimming, Scanning and Inference | 阅读:略读、定位与推断
Section B presents several texts of increasing difficulty. Typical sources include newspaper articles, opinion columns, blogs, interviews and literary extracts. The topics usually align with the specification themes: family and relationships, the digital society, volunteering, cultural heritage, youth unemployment, immigration, regional identity and the environment.
Section B 提供若干篇难度递增的文本。典型来源包括报纸文章、评论专栏、博客、访谈和文学选段。话题通常与考纲主题对应:家庭与关系、数字社会、志愿服务、文化遗产、青年失业、移民、地域认同和环境。
The command words in the questions tell you exactly what the examiner wants. Learning them is one of the fastest ways to gain marks.
题目中的指令词直接告诉你考官想要什么。掌握这些词是提分最快的方法之一。
- Relevez... = quote the exact words from the text. | Relevez...= 从文中直接抄出原词原句。
- Expliquez... = explain in your own words, using the text as evidence. | Expliquez...= 用自己的话解释,并以文本为证据。
- Comparez... = identify similarities and differences. | Comparez...= 指出相同点与不同点。
- Quel est le ton de l'auteur ? = identify the tone and justify it. | Quel est le ton de l'auteur ?= 判断作者语气并给出依据。
- Dans quelle mesure... = to what extent; you may agree partly. | Dans quelle mesure...= 在多大程度上;你可以只部分同意。
Here is a typical inference question and a model answer. Question: "Selon l'auteur, pourquoi les jeunes s'engagent-ils moins dans la vie politique traditionnelle ?" A strong answer reads: "Parce que les partis traditionnels ne les représentent plus et qu'ils préfèrent agir localement, par exemple dans des associations de quartier." Notice that the answer keeps the author's point of view rather than adding personal opinion.
下面是一个典型的推断题及其参考答案。题目:"Selon l'auteur, pourquoi les jeunes s'engagent-ils moins dans la vie politique traditionnelle ?" 优秀的作答是:"Parce que les partis traditionnels ne les représentent plus et qu'ils préfèrent agir localement, par exemple dans des associations de quartier." 注意答案保持作者的视角,而不是加入个人观点。
Tone questions reward precision. Irony is often signalled by quotation marks, by an exaggerated adjective or by a rhetorical question. If you claim the tone is ironic, you must quote the phrase that proves it. Never answer a tone question with a single adjective and no evidence.
语气题奖励精确表达。讽刺通常由引号、夸张的形容词或反问句来提示。如果你判断语气为讽刺,就必须引用能够证明这一点的句子。绝不要只写一个形容词而不给依据。
Finally, manage the clock. Skim each text for its general argument in about ninety seconds, then read the questions, then scan for the specific lines you need. Answering questions in the order they appear in the text reduces hunting time and error.
最后是时间管理。先用约九十秒略读每篇文章把握总体论点,然后读题,再回到文中定位所需的特定句子。按文本出现顺序答题,能减少寻找时间和出错概率。
4. Translation English into French | 英译法
The English-to-French translation is usually five or six sentences long and tests whether you can transfer meaning accurately while using structures at the right level. Mark schemes normally split the marks between comprehension of the original and quality of the French, so a sentence that is understood but ungrammatical still loses marks.
英译法通常有五到六句话,考查你能否在准确传递含义的同时使用达标的法语结构。评分标准通常把分数分为"理解原文"和"法语质量"两部分,因此一句意思对了但语法错误的话依然会失分。
Certain structures appear again and again. Revise them until they are automatic.
有些结构反复出现。要把它们复习到自动反应的程度。
- bien que / quoique + subjunctive: "bien qu'il soit difficile de..." | bien que / quoique + 虚拟式:"bien qu'il soit difficile de..."
- il faut que + subjunctive, and il faut + infinitive for general statements. | il faut que + 虚拟式;一般性陈述用 il faut + 不定式。
- si + imperfect, then conditional: "si les salaires augmentaient, les jeunes resteraient". | si + 未完成过去时,主句用条件式:"si les salaires augmentaient, les jeunes resteraient"。
- Passive voice: "la mesure a été annoncée par le gouvernement". | 被动语态:"la mesure a été annoncée par le gouvernement"。
- Present participle with en: "en travaillant à l'étranger, on acquiert de l'expérience". | en + 现在分词:"en travaillant à l'étranger, on acquiert de l'expérience"。
Consider this example. English: "Although the government has promised to reduce unemployment, many young people still believe that they will have to leave the country to find work." Model French: "Bien que le gouvernement ait promis de réduire le chômage, beaucoup de jeunes croient encore qu'ils devront quitter le pays pour trouver du travail."
看这个例子。英文原文:"Although the government has promised to reduce unemployment, many young people still believe that they will have to leave the country to find work." 参考译文:"Bien que le gouvernement ait promis de réduire le chômage, beaucoup de jeunes croient encore qu'ils devront quitter le pays pour trouver du travail."
The model earns full marks because it uses the subjunctive after bien que, the future tense devront for a future obligation, and the correct preposition pour before an infinitive. Typical weak versions write "Bien que le gouvernement a promis" or "pour trouver un travail" with a wrong article.
该译文能拿满分,因为它用了 bien que 后的虚拟式、表示将来义务的简单将来时 devront,以及不定式前正确的介词 pour。常见的失分写法是 "Bien que le gouvernement a promis" 或用错冠词的 "pour trouver un travail"。
Register matters as much as grammar. A newspaper editorial is not an informal chat, so avoid colloquialisms and do not translate word for word. Remember that réaliser usually means to achieve, not to realise; that éventuellement means possibly, not eventually; and that actuel means current, not actual.
语域与语法同样重要。报纸社论不是随便闲聊,所以要避免口语化表达,也不要逐字硬译。记住:réaliser 通常意为"实现"而非"意识到";éventuellement 意为"可能"而非"最终";actuel 意为"当前的"而非"实际的"。
5. Translation French into English | 法译英
The French-to-English passage is often longer and more idiomatic. The examiner is looking for natural, well-formed English that preserves the tone of the original, not a word-for-word transcription. If your English sounds like translated French, you will lose marks even when the meaning is right.
法译英的段落通常更长、更地道。考官想看到的是自然、通顺、保留原文语气的英文,而不是逐字转写。如果你的英文读起来像"翻译腔的法语",即使意思正确也会失分。
False friends are the single biggest source of avoidable errors in this task. Learn them as a fixed list and test yourself weekly.
假朋友是这一题中最容易造成"可避免错误"的来源。把它们当作固定清单来记,每周自测一次。
- actuellement = currently, not actually | actuellement = 目前,不是"实际上"
- éventuellement = possibly, not eventually | éventuellement = 可能,不是"最终"
- sensible = sensitive, not sensible (which is raisonnable) | sensible = 敏感的,不是"明智的"(明智是 raisonnable)
- la librairie = bookshop, not library (which is la bibliothèque) | la librairie = 书店,不是"图书馆"(图书馆是 la bibliothèque)
- assister à = to attend, not to assist | assister à = 出席,不是"协助"
- passer un examen = to sit an exam, not to pass it (which is réussir) | passer un examen = 参加考试
