The pathway is flexible. Schools may offer the full route or individual stages, and learners may join at Cambridge IGCSE or at Cambridge International AS & A Level directly, provided they meet the entry expectations of the school.

Cambridge students are sought after in the most popular study destinations, including the United States, the United Kingdom and Australia, as well as in other parts of the world such as South Africa and Germany.

In the United Kingdom, Cambridge International AS & A Levels are accepted by every UK university and carry UCAS Tariff points, exactly as UK A Levels do. In the United States, many universities - including highly selective ones - accept Cambridge qualifications for admission and may award credit or advanced standing for strong AS and A Level grades.
